Well, at least we know what the Pope is giving up for Lent !!!
Now, if we could just get Karl to give up looking for a new manager and give Thommo the job

The job centre and lower league managers are being tracked now!! Yates of Cheltenham, Rosler of Brentford and Paolo Sousa ex Swansea, are all set for interviews with Karl today!

Well one thing is for sure, he would know our strengths and weaknesses from watching over a long period of time and would have the advantage over anyone else coming from outside the club and any changes to be made could be done fairly quickly. The reason I had Thommo down for the rest of the season was that little or any disruption would take place, he knows the squad inside out and the one thing the squad needed after Appy and Ollie was confidence in itself.
I think Ince would be a very good appointment, look forward to the news.

Besides increasing my bank balance I hope its Ince or Thommo or both together as you said whit time is limited and we really don't have time now for a new manager to start looking at the squad and deciding who is going or staying never mind starting 11, at least with Ince he has watched every game this season so has a better understanding of how we play and who does what.
My only concern is would it effect Ince jnr game?

There is no doubt in my mind that after every game when he has watched junior he has let him know where he thought he had gone wrong, just as theough he was his own personel trainer, so I don't feel he would be under any more pressure than he has been since the big money was waved in front of him. I am sure he will be just fine about it and if he could keep him here a year longer that would be even better.

Former Blackburn and MK Dons manager Paul Ince, 45, is set to become the new manager of Blackpool after watching most of the games this season because of his son Tom.
