If everyone is in lock down, then an appointment is just round the corner me thinks, or someone has already been appointed and everyone outside the club will find out in about 4 days, with Karl's PR dept!!!!!!

He daren't announce anything until he has the candidate well and truly locked in the laundry room and has searched his bags for the Persil that he was supposed to bring as part of the signing agreement.

Championship outfit Blackpool have reportedly made an approach for MK Dons boss Karl Robinson.
The Seasiders have been without a manager since Michael Appleton took charge of fellow Championship club Blackburn Rovers last week.
It had been reported that Dundee United boss Peter Houston was the favourite for the post, but according to Sky Sports News, Robinson has now been approached to take over at Bloomfield Road.
MK Dons are currently in sixth position in the League One table.

Lets see he if he will swap for a one year contract and pay cut plus worse training facilities than he has MKD and a team that has a chance of getting promoted to the championship. Or if its just his agent trying to get him a better contract at MK

Manager-less Blackpool have had an approach for Blues boss Lee Clark rejected by the club, according to Sky Sports. The 40 year-old was short-listed by the Seasiders board, but their approach was dismissed today.
Many Birmingham City fans want Clark out as last season’ play-off semi finalists languish in the lower reaches of the Championship, with relegation to League One a real possibility. But Blackpool are said to be keen on the job Clark has done under tight financial parameters.
MK Dons’ Karl Robinson is now the favourite to take the hot-seat, he will meet with chairman Pete Winkelman this afternoon.

It seems your luck has run out again Karl nobody wants to take the club on, looks like only a truly desperate out of work manager will consider it... Wonder why? maybe its because like players managers also talk between themselves
Milton Keynes Dons Football Club has released the following statement in response to speculation linking manager Karl Robinson to Blackpool. “It comes as no surprise that Karl’s name is once again touted for one of the top managerial positions in the Championship as his bold and stylish brand of football has invited plenty of talk in the industry.
“Since being appointed at stadiummk as the youngest manager in the Football League, Karl has guided our side to back-to-back play-off campaigns, broken a number of Club records and only yesterday he created history by leading our Club into the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time.
“Karl is an ambitious, bright young manager and he is firmly focused on realising MK Dons’ dream of Championship football.
“Following discussions between Karl and the Chairman, the Club have turned down an approach from Blackpool to speak to Karl regarding the managerial vacancy at Bloomfield Road.
“Karl remains committed to the players, staff and, most importantly, the fans at Milton Keynes Dons, and will be looking to take the Club from strength to strength by continuing to write new chapters in its history books.”
The Club will not comment further on this matter.

Something needs to change within the club, as it seems nobody will work under Karl, we can't even scrape the barrel to get a manager and it seems the only one that wants it is Thommo but Karl seems reluctant! Not a great boost for Thommo knowing your only going to get the job because no one else wants it! We are fast becoming a joke club, to everyone outside Bloomers, with our clown of a chairman at the helm. Yes Karl nobody wants to work for you!

The problem is they keep saying they are working through a list so now anybody who is offered the job is going to be 4th or 5th choice. does not inspire confidence doe sit. Just give it to tommo till the end of the season and then review the situation then.
Plus we need some new players in by the way Karl upfront

News down here in MK, is that MK Dons would of given Karl Robinson permission to speak to Blackpool, but it seems he did a little research on Karl and had issues with the way the club is run and told Pete Winkleman the Dons chairman he did not want to speak to Pool, hence the block. These are due to why Ollie and Appo have left! and the financial and working constraints he'd be working under. It seems Karl is a bit of a celebrity in the world of football but for the wrong reasons and everyone knows it.

Maybe Karl just has to learn this lesson the hard way. He's in a corner and nobody wants to play by his rules. If you think this is bad just wait until the player contracts come around!

Agree Pete, everyone connected with BFC knows what Karl is like, the problem now is , so does the whole wide footballing world now! Just really worried where were heading under Karl, it's not just getting a manager who will work for him but also players now, and that includes the current crop out of contract in the summer! sorry Karl you need to change or you need to go!
