I would think..... none.
Builders aren't electricians, are they?

Sorry, Sher - clicked on the wrong button there..
Wasn't he the one that abdicated due to marrying Wallis Simpson?
If it was, he was King of the United Kingdom, not just of England.

I am sure he was King of the UK etc etc etc, however,it was for less than a year because of the Wallis Simpson siuation and don't think he was crowned. PM Baldwin told him that the cabinet and government would resign if he were to marry and he was given no choice other than to forget Simpson or abdicate.

Taking it you are acceeding that I've answered the Q correctly, I was merely pointing out that KE8 was the one that married WS - wasn't suggesting that that had anything to do with the question, just the connection.......
4Stands: He (or any other monarch) would have to have been crowned before they could abdicate.
Q # 312
Where, and when, in Europe, did British and German troops opposing each other in a battlefield have a 'truce' lasting, in some instances, two/three days?
I could also mention that these 'battlefield troops' had a game (or games) of football, and in one particular 'game', the 'Huns' won 3-2?

I agree that it was the Wallis Simpson affair , however, he did acceed as King, however, everyone around him, the church, the government and his own family told him he couldn't be King and marry Wallis. He could not have abdicated unless he was king, however, he was never officially crowned because he was fighting the opponents from the moment George (?) died.
answer to next question Christmas Day/Boxing Day and Easter Sundays( a fact not usually noted), Trenches Belgium/Northern France and Holland, principly the Somme.

I would have to say your wrong yeni lol
The answer was he was king in name only as he abdicated to marry Wallis simpson thus becoming the 3rd monarch never to be crowned.
on the death of the monarch the next in line takes the title the same day the monarch dies, but has to wait 3 months before being crowned and thus becoming a true monarch of Great Britian in this time they can not undertake any royal duties like honors or the state opening of Westminister or sit on a throne
