The 'Black Mamba' is African, is it not? Other than that, I haven't a clue as to what the Mex snake could be - I stay clear of such creepy crawlies ;D I shall await the seventeenth hour of the day with much trepidation though.... YL.

Everything's ticking over nicely, I see....NOT! The Quiz Master has done a bunk, couldn't you have done a question, surely? so it looks like I've got to do the needful, again... So, without much further ado, and with great reluctance (it's not my turn to ask, is it?) - Q. # 19 - In which town did the Beatles play their first Scottish gig, and when?

Doesn't look like anyone is going to answer this....
are there no Beatles fans out there.........?
Looks like it's up to me to put forward the next question, as well, as usual......
Taking into consideration that there'll be nobody about from say, twelve midnight to 7-ish, I'll give it another question....
The Answer to # 19 was -

Elgin. 3 Jan 1963.
Though they did play at Alloa Town Hall in 1960 as the “Beetles?”
and so, to # 20.
Who was the darts player that injured his hand, which forced him to miss two Players Championships, and the Grand Slam (which might make him loose out in the World Championships) this year and how did the incident happen?

Looks like you were up and about a few minutes before me, Sher! (had to take the 'ladies' to Poulton to catch the 07:05-whatever to Lime Street - retail therapy) 'Retired' ... as in Jocky Wilson? And the Answer to # 20 is - - - - John Henderson, who slept awkwardly on his hand and it led to a trapped nerve. and so on to # 21... which should keep you guessing for a while,or not: This town, formerly known as “ Ksar Es Souk”, was occupied by the French from 1916 until the mid 50s. Situated on the road which passes the “Blue Springs of M -- “ to another town where scenes from “The Mummy” [directed by Stephen Sommers] were shot, which in turn is not far from a disputed border with a country a former Blackpool player is capped for, even though he wasn't born there. What is the present name of the town, what is the 'M' of the 'Blue Springs', name the town that the film was partly shot at, and what is the country that the border is disputed with? Good Luck.

The whistle blows, the hooter blasts, the bell clangs, the clock battery runs out.... time is up for Q.#21 - and it's a disappointment that nobody even attempted a guess, especially with an obvious clue as per reference to an ex-'Pool player who was ....Hamer Bouazza of Algeria (born Evry, France) And to the rest of the Q. Er Rachidia prev. k/a Ksar Es Souk the Blue Springs of Meski - Erfoud was where scenes from 'The Mummy' were shot. iguide.travel/Erfoud/ActivitiesYL.

Blimey! Took yer time, didn't you - been trawling the web to find something difficult? The Greeks or Romans? had the first sort of (safety) pin , but it wouldn't stay put, a bit like those pins that you get with the Poppy in November. There was some Yank who took it from there but his name escapes me - Hurst, Hurd, or something?
