Sher, you were two and a quarter hours too early with the answer to 'MASH'.
You put the question up at 1.pm. did you not?
add 6 hours for the duration of the question as per the Rules,
which gives you 7.pm. as a time up........

Which Butlins Holiday Camp was initiated as a Navy training base during the war, when it was then known as “HMS Scotia”?
This Question will run until 12:30, or sooner if answered correctly.

Been there, but no. Don't forget, Butlins' was apparently the biggest holiday camp company when we were all kids, so you've got quite a long list to go through... that's if you're going through the list one by one.

Out of the Kindness and Goodness of my Heart, I have decided to, for once, be Benevolent in my old age, and give you all a little clue.... for what it's worth...? and the Clue is:- I was the first person to be christened at that Camp's Church.

Well "Scotia" was a bit of a clue, at least I thought it was and if north of the border cannot imagine it being on the east coast, much too cold, wouldn't have thought it up the west coast and the Isles, that leaves Ayrshire close to Glasgow. Is Dunoon in Ayrshire, if so would go for that place.

Sorry, Whit: Dunoon is in Argyll & Bute, on the Clyde. Think 'Holy Loch'.
About 35 miles north of the place in question, as the crow flies, so you're getting colder....
