So much for Karl's comments about "holding interviews with potential signings to ensure their characters are suitable."

3 years to late but I guess I finally have to stop deleting his profile, the quick fire poll I carried out on twitter returned the following 86% of fans don't want him while 14% think its a good signing

Not someone I would want my kids looking up to. Thank goodness they are grown up
A very strange signing, must be cheap

José Riga hopes that Nile Ranger will show his 'real potential' on the pitch after giving him a chance to impress at Blackpool.
The former Newcastle and Swindon striker signed for the club over the weekend and immediately set about letting his football do the talking.
Having previously worked under Noel Blake as an England Under-19 international, Riga is keen to give Ranger an opportunity to put the past behind him.
"He is still young at 23 and I think he deserves to get a new chance," the manager said. "Hopefully he will just be focused on his job and show his real potential on the pitch. I have spoken with him and he knows already which deal we have together. Now it's up to him.
"I won't always believe that people can't change. I will look to get what he needs, but first of all it's up to him. Now it's about his publicity on the pitch," he added.
Ranger could come into contention for a debut against Brentford tomorrow night, after being handed the number 19 shirt at Bloomfield Road.
