Its about time a decision was made.
Fergie seems to have the backing of the players although we still need wins.
His team on Saturday was attacking and after the first 20 mins settled well. What did it for me was in the last 5 minutes when the central defence was asking him whether to go up top or defend the draw. He pushed them all up!! That sort of confidence will rub off on the players.
He's a man with a plan and although he has a lot to learn in management, seems to be growing into the job. The fans are behind him too.
I think its a little late to change the management this season and a new man in charge might even be a step backwards. There is no transfer window left to make an impact to the squad, and we could do with some stability. I believe Fergie will get the players working hard and giving it 100%. The talent is there already.
We're in a battle and he leads from the front. We must accept that everything we do now for this season is short term and if it was me I would give him the rest of the season to prove himself, with the promise of a full time contract if he keeps us up.
A vote of confidence now would give him, the team and the fans a real boost. I can't imagine any other appointment having the same effect, even if we could attract the type of manager with a proven record.
The pro's outweigh the cons and with a little luck we might have struck gold.
Get it done Koko!

When it was first announced that he would be taking charge of the team and training sessions and not officially appointed as manager by KO, it reminded me of last season and the difficulty we had of finding a manager and the subsequent time frame. I just have it in my head that KO probably sees him in a number two role and is actively looking for a manager, actively not being the best choice of words however. Whatever the outcome I am sure the team will respond in a better light than in previous months, let him have the reins until the end of the season as I am fairly certain we will still be a Championship club, just can't see the bottom three clubs doubling their points with 18 games to go and then look at the situation in May re the manager's job.

Its time he was given the job and hopefully 3 points on saturday will get him the role, I believe its easier for someone to manage at pool that is already at the club under the currant problems
