I've loved watching him play in Tangerine and hope he goes on to great things. The last few weeks have been inevitable since Paul Ince was appointed. It was never going to end well was it??
My advice, for what its worth, is to get yourself a proper agent, break free from your Dad and be your own man.
Good luck to him and I hope one day he looks back to the great times he had here rather than the shambles at the end.

If it is the Swans, think he'll fit in brill. Mind you, will he like being one of a gifted bunch, rather than the skilled one? Agree about his dad though, he needs to take a leaf out of KO's book and fire him by text

yes Tom it has been a pleasure to watch such a young talent light up the championship, pity your dad spoiled your game this season.
but please get a good agent, your dad is just that and has had is career, time for you to enjoy your own.

What happens if and it's a big if all these clubs decide after seeing what's happened here that they don't want him? Can't see it but it may happen. Does he come back here and bench warm or what? Xx

How can Tom possibly endear himself to any clubs fans when he is off on this self demeaning tour of the mostly Premier League periphery clubs. Wherever he ends up he can only be seen a mercenary for the way he has gone about things. He has been a credit to himself at Blackpool until possibly the last couple of months and now he really looks like a lost soul at times. Clubs are going to tire of his one man show hawking himself around the country. Soon they are going to feel that he will be more trouble than he is worth which will be a shame. I see Swansea have pulled away and they are probably the best of a poor bunch really.
Please Tom, don't end up like the perennial badge chewer himself who only ever played well at one club and that was the Pool and was disliked and a nonentity every where else.

I reckon this "Ince Tour" is all due to Paul Ince who seems to have an overinflated opinion of his own talents, and probably his Sons value. If Tom wants to be taken seriously he has got to ditch his Dad. The Father and Son act just looks ridiculous. That said he Should have stayed at BFC and shown some guts in the first place.

Poor Tom, break the apron strings, son, or you will be the latest in a long line of youngsters who could have been so good. Even some of us who admired you so much have used the phrase "petulant brat". You have a short career, make sure you do have one, and ditch the arrogant agent who thinks his xxxx don't stink.

From Football Focus on the Red Button
"Blackpool have been waiting for the paperwork from Selhurst Park for the last two hours, but it still has not been received."
Looks like Karl unplugged the Fax machine again

I see Tom has Tweeted a few things today :-
"Id like to say thank you to everyone at Blackpool football club. it has been a fantastic platform for me and I enjoyed every part....."
"of my 3 years with the club. I've gained some fantastic experience and made some memories I won't forget. Scoring at wemberly"
"being a highlight to just mention one. It's been an incredible club to of been a part of and I want to thank the fans for all there support"
"and dedication. The staff and players who have been a pleasure to work with. I'm looking forward to the next challenge that lies ahead"
"with my move to crystal palace. Thank you again to all the fans and all the best to Blackpool football club for the rest of the season."
Nice to see Tom showing considerably more class than some of the Mucking Fuppets on some forums

Yea good on him. He's a decent lad and just got wrapped up in ego politics. Its not his fault and I wish him all the best.
As for the other forums they simply spout the same old rubbish and unfortunately its all getting rather nasty recently. I'm sure they only represent a small minority but it will influence the moderates. Simply no excuse for getting personal with the team and other supporters. I'm afraid Koko is here to stay and there is nothing Avftt can do about it.
