I would be very surprised if he gets sacked not while the saga of Tom Ince goes on, Sadly this is the end for any hopes for another tilt at promotion and the blame lies at one persons door doesn't it KARL. One more year of parachute money to pocket and then we will be lucky if we ever have a squad bigger than 16 players.
Plus Karl really does not care and would take more delight in not sacking ince till at least Saturday, then he can be assured of not having to do anything in the transfer window not that any footballer would want to join the club now anyway. No right back all season a utter joke and clear statement that still no scouting network is in place even though promises have been made over the last 3 years, more chance of a training ground being built than a transfer happening

Right or wrong its a brave (non) decision by Karl. For the first time in a while he has tied himself directly to the fortunes of the team. Very risky strategy and one he may well live to regret.
If we can't attract players we have no chance of getting a decent manager and I'm sure this has a bearing on why Ince is still here. No-one will work with that Koko and his negative approach to running a club. He seems to relish in being the pantomime villain.
Dark days ahead I'm afraid.

What a mess, complete shambles from everybody at BFC.
Yet again we, the fans, will suffer.
Of course I could be completely wrong with Ince playing delightful stylish football, six top players arriving tomorrow and a day out at Wembley in May.

KO saying that PIs list of targets was "unrealistic"
Have to say I'm getting really p*ssed off now!! How can the list be unrealistic??
Do they not discuss budgets beforehand!!!!!!? Wages and fees are easily guessable and as most of them will be free or loans it really isn't rocket science.
This is clearly a chairman trying to shift the blame for his inability to attract players to our club.
I'm biting my lip but he really is an utter moron. Both KO and PI are driving us to league one this season or next and should be ashamed of themselves.
I can only guess how the players are feeling and they deserve our support but I can't take much more of this greedy headless chicken running our club.

Glad hes gone finally! With it looking like Barry taking temporary charge and Thommo gone, i can only imagine KOKO has a permanant manager lined up & his own backroom staff hence koko having no choice but to pot Thommo? The issue has been & still is koko! A new manager will be appointed on 1st Feb then he wont have to spend a penny! Ince going will not change the fact if koko doesnt spend were still heading for league one!

word is that even Thommo and Rae were not sacked by KO in person. If true then then disgraceful behaviour especially considering how much ST gave to the club.

Given Ince seems to be too busy trying to mange Tom's career to spend much time at Bloomfield Rd or Squires gate, maybe a text was the only way Karl could contact him so for me that's no issue !!
However, if it's true that a loyal long-term club servant like Thommo was also sacked by text, then I'm afraid Karl loses a lot of my respect over that

My biggest worry is that by sacking ST we may have just "thrown the baby out with the bathwater"! We've lost any sense of continuity and just put the next training session in the hands of the captain.......sorry, but it makes us look like a school football set-up because "the sports master has to attend a staff meeting so the head boy will be taking games today"! It's official......we are a f***ing stock. Don't cancel your parachute orders just yet......it looks like the free fall is going to continue for the foreseeable future.

Oh so it was Glen Bowleys decision then?
Sorry I don't believe a single word he says. Its a massive arse covering exercise. Prize this limpet off our rock. He wouldn't even reward Holloway with a decent contract after earning the Oyston family a fortune.
Ince was not the man for the job but he was the only one available after the serious options had laughed their way home. Glad he has gone but will KO now do the right thing by employing a good manager and backing him. Not a chance.
Hiding behind the "I like to empower the manager" Bullsh*t he will paper over the cracks to appease the fans. Sorry not this one.

Usual script, KO is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.
Careful what you wish for, it sometimes bites.

Well that was a entertaining 24/48 hrs lol expect Barry to take the job till the end of the season and bring his own staff in hence Rae and Tommo bit sad about Tommo but he has been sidelined all season and maybe had no where to go as Karl will not give him managers job.

I will always disagree with Sandy about the Oystons, but he is more than entitled to his opinion. However, I feel myself in the unlikely situation of having huge sympathy for KO sacking Ince by text. They have a crisis meeting, KO demands improvements and a transfer list, Ince clears off on a 2 day course his boss knew nothing about, Rae and Thommo send something by paper, and the players don't train? Unbelievable even for BFC.

I think he should know what his highly paid, under achieving, manager is up to 24/7, especially when he's swanning around sorting out a deal for our best player. The fact he didn't even know about the course speaks volumes. By the sound of things he'd lost his grip and Ince was left to feather his nest at the detriment of BFC. It would have been bad enough even if we were not in crisis (which we most certainly are).
He's out of his depth. Not a personal attack but he needs help. Someone to keep him up to speed and help put some long term strategy in place.

The problem is he leaves everything to Matt to sort out so maybe he should consider offering him the chairmans job not that anyone is crazy enough to take it.
Ps Karl I'm crazy so i will gladly except the job
