Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse. Silly boy for tweeting about the standard of training but goes to show where we are in the Player/ Manager relationship cycle. We could do without a spoilt player.......... if we had a better replacement. Sadly our usual stance on transfer windows still applies. All this does not bode well. And where the hell is PI?? No doubt busy working on a deal for his Son and a nice little pay off for all concerned. www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/news/article/club-statement-michael-chopra-1280058.aspx

He's probably miffed because it was time he couldn't spend in a casino. Hopefully given his attitude, we'll ship him out in the transfer window . . . . though given the baggage he comes with I'm not sure any clubs would be willing to take a chance on him

One really would have hoped that the silly boy had a little more sense.
Or is he trying to engineer an exit? Was delighted when he signed, but has he been given 90 minutes football in total since he came here? Ince doesn't do goal scorers, just goal stoppers. Would have loved to see a strike force of Tom, Chops and Fuller, skill, drop off and goal hanging bully. Ian would have seen it.

I'm with you on that front 3 Yeolde.
Surely the is a better, less expensive, way of improving the training than tweeting the fans. He might be frustrated but deal with it internally. Bad attitude for me even though the training situ is poor.
I note he has since apologised (again on twitter) as he didn't realise Thommo has a family matter to deal with

I wonder how many other players feel like Chops?
Or is this an isolated case?

Statement from our beloved Chairman “If people are dim enough to do things like that, which will cost them thousands of pounds, then I’m delighted to take it. “It will be going to such a good use. People who deserve a chance and support will benefit from this, so I’m delighted. I wish there was more bad behaviour like that.” Chopra’s long-term future at Bloomfield Road is now in doubt and it is unclear whether he will be back with the squad when full training resumes tomorrow. Oyston said Chopra’s actions were hardly a . “The player has a well documented run of poor behaviour and off-the-field problems, so it doesn’t surprise me,” he said. “We took immediate action by fining him two weeks’ wages and the manager asked me to donate that to our community trust. It will be going to help youngsters in the town, so I’m pleased. “The money will be going to much better use than it probably would have had it gone to its planned destination.” To me that says more about Karl Oyston than Chopra........... and not in a good way. He does himself no favours and sounds more like a spoilt schoolboy than a chairman of a multi million business. Arrogant, smug, petty and childish..Give me strength!!!!!!!!!

Sounds to me like Karl's a pretty good judge of character and has Chopra sussed to a tee
Which begs the question why he allowed Ince to bring him in in the first place ?

The chairman employed a manager with a dodgy track record so why not a player?
It maybe that Chops comments were not ideal within the public domain but there are clearly issues at the club.
When loan players are not motivated to return questions should be asked about the management style.

Still think he has not been given a fair chance but after all how are you meant to with a negative style of football

Have to agree that Chops has not received a fair chance, in particular when TI plays each week despite a clear loss of form.
