I've seen a fair few poor performances over the years but, with the players we have now, the game against BHA ranks as one of the worst. I cant fault the players commitment but I just thought they didn't look like they knew what they were supposed to be doing. The team selection looked very negative and even baffling. (Why put one of the Championships best playmakers on the left wing!!!).
The substitutions looked desperate and not thought out. The players lost their shape and were simply playing freestyle. Remember we were only one nil down! BHA were not a good team but we were just awful.
I have a problem with fans leaving early but yesterday they stayed behind just to boo which makes me ask what sort of fans we have.
That said and trying to look forward
Who thinks its time for Paul to move over?
He's done a good job since coming in but.....
For me its a yes
It not just the latest run of results or the lack of discipline, but its the brand of football we try to play. Players are frightened to push up....why?? Counter attacking football with no pace.......eh?
Its all guts and no guile.
I've every faith in the players but sorry Paul if you don't get on top of this fiasco double quick its time to call it a day.

Expectations are running to high but saying that things are clearly wrong I'm no football manager but a humble fan but these are my concerns.
1. All one sided on the wing play, bishop has put in some good games but he poses no threat playing out there at all.
2. Last game prime example of badly thought out tactics poor Dobbie playing out of position and Chopra who has always scored goals playing as a two up front duo not a solo striker
3. bench heavily packed with striker options but we play a negative game style even at home which is just wrong in my book.
4. midfield is just not there at all only Barry worth a place to be honest and Angel when these two play together the team play well, in fact is Ince aware that angel has completed more passes than any other pool player this season and he hardly plays?
I want the team to be successful but I also don't want to have to sit through the style off football that is currently being served up.. can we just go back to a care free brand of lets have some fun football after all that got us to the premiership last time, Wonder if Ian regrets leaving now and yes i would have the fool back like a shot as long as he came back as the fool as clearly that is what worked, he got all serious and looked what happened to him

Ince is a clueless tosser and needs to go NOW.
The football is atrocious and his comments in the Gazette the last two nights show what an utter prick he is.
We want our Ollie back!

Not been to to many games but seen the last two and i have never been so bored sh*tless in all my life! And i include the Hendry days & the 7-0 drubbing at Barnet which i can still feel the rain dripping down my back at half time listening to "who let the dogs out" oh and the 80s n 90s but at least we had a go! Message to Paul you were a good hard combative midfielder in your day but please for the love of god you cannot set a team of 11 Inces & the game has moved on! Sorry Paul shape up or ship out and tell that w*nker in charge koko to sling his hook aswell as hes robbed everything from us & i hope theirs an investigation into his wrongdoings and ends up where he belongs in the can bent over in the shower! Happy new year all!

Quite a lot of agreement, then! I will be for ever grateful for him steadying the ship last season, after Ollie had enough and Appleton, well, who knows. However, his comments in the interview were quite revealing. He has lost the support, some ITKs reckon he has lost the players, yet it is everyone else's fault. He actually has put together a squad which can compete with our rivals, but he is absolutely not using them. And, the ultimate irony, big hard self styled Governor is scared stiff of losing. He is so scared, that he has to strengthen the defence if the opposition dare to have 3 in midfield, and his comparison the Chelsea is pantomine ( oh no it's not) Can't see any positives, but will KO sack him? best we can hope for is he'll get a job elsewhere. Then, the cheap option is Thommo as Mgr and Barry as Assistant. Judging this by the last 40 years of Pool support, rarely been so depressed, anyone who can't learn shouldn't be there PS nice to see Ted as diplomatic as ever

Well I do see a positive and that is believe it or not we are only 3 points adrift from a play off position with half the season to play for. Now before your all start , well it is New Year's eve anyway, what I am saying is that it is not too late to change things around, but of course some things will need to be handled rather differently. I go along with yeolde, he did steady the ship last season but then I became quite disappointed with the summer transfer window and believed we would end up lower part of league. The start we had to this season came as a bit of a surprise for me, the defence was certainly a vast improvement on past seasons and I just thought his remark re playing gung ho football was going out the window would just be a temporary style while concentrating on the defence, but alas it appears to be a permanent fixture. We are desperately short of some key players and with the suspensions and injuries we have endured the past month or so has shown us up to be a weak squad and playing players out of position on a regular basis. Whether he is prepared to change our style of play or manages to get reinforcements in these coming few weeks, who knows, but unless we get some form back with a number of wins and draws he is surely walking a tightrope. I though back in 2008 when Simon left at the end of December along with about 9 loan players things couldn't get worse, but every cloud has a silver lining they say and TP managed to get a few loans in, remember Charlie and DJ, chin up perhaps a similar occurrence will occur next month. Happy New Year to you all.

A manager has to be either a motivator or a tactician and so far I can't see either. Some of his signings have been good so he can spot a player but it seems there is no plan as to how the team will actually play. He likes a lone striker up front but non of our signings have played that way before. We don't pressure teams in their own half but sit back. When we do get possession no-one is available as a runner so the ball is chipped up to a lone striker who is being marked by a CB who easily dominates. Our dead ball game has gone to pieces and needs work. I can see the start of a lack of confidence in the players (not helped by some fans) and put all this together and it spells disaster. The players have proven quality so I'm afraid you have to look at the manager for where the problem lies. Its a tough business I'm afraid.
We are only half way through the season and a transfer window is available. Time for Koko to be decisive get a manager for the long term and back him with some funds.
FAT CHANCE

As fans we are quick to blame the manager when there are 11 players on the pitch who should bear some responsibility, however,it would appear the manager has lost the dressing room which may explain the standard of play.
Recent management changes at some sides has resulted in a general improvement, perhaps this is the way forward??
So who would you like at the helm?

Oh Dear!!!
Paul's latest statement through the Gazette
I don’t feel under pressure, not at all,” he told The Gazette.
“I have a very good chairman, who knows where we are as a club.
[/font]“Obviously it’s not nice to hear some of the things the fans say but I never feel under pressure.
“Why should I? We aren’t in the bottom three and last season we almost went down.
“We have 32 points. We’d like to have more but once we get our strongest side back we’ll be OK.
LACK OF AMBITION
Chairman knows where we are as a club........so do we but where would we like to be? we almost went down........motivational genius we'll be OK...........so that's good enough is it?
Just dream a little!!!Anything is possible in football and we proved it! They might as well be running a biscuit factory

I have read PI comments in our local rag, not surprised really.
What might help would be for PI to stand up and be counted, stop blaming everybody and everything else.
I was surprised to read Thommo making excuses for the recent displays, thought he was better than that.
In the meantime I will update my CV and forward to KO, it can't be any worse!

Yes something like
As a manager of Blackpool I always feel under pressure. Performances have not been good and we are working hard to put that right. When we are back to full strength I expect performances will improve but until then we need our supporters to back the team.
It really is that simple Paul

Trained by SAF, it's never your fault, its others , referees, opposition, fans, people who know nothing about football.
Also thinking, he must have seriously damaged Little Incey's career
Anyone seriously think KO will fire a manager?

Not a chance
Too scared that Paul would slap'im
To be serious NO
It hasn't effected his wallet yet!
He'll use measured , reasoned logic and then wake up when its too late. PI was always a stop gap manager. Jeez why can't anyone at BFC plan ahead??
