Not much to report to be honest, thought right at the end when the 3 extra minutes went up we had our best chance but Ince didn't take it and 0-0 represents a pretty boring affair. I am not sure where we go from here, Tom certainly looks a different player from the last season and although I saw some good individual performances we just don't play as a team and particularly when we have the occasional attack. To keep the ball we reverted to mostly passing the ball backwards, it's as though they are scared stiff to go forward with it and to be honest I couldn't wait for the game to finish, stayed to the end and clapped them off along with majority of the Pool fans who gave a good deal of support particularly in the first half but as the game progressed quietened a fair bit. Couldn't say much regarding Gosling, he fired a shot that missed the target, Dobbie I thought would be the most likely one to score if anyone did, Fuller holds the ball up well but needs another player close by, Robertson and Mackenzie I thought played very well and all in all as I said earlier some decent individual players but as a team, well just can't put my finger on it. On a positive note, we gained a point but we need to get some goals and to be fair I didn't rate Charlton as a high flying Championship team and felt we should be able with the guys we have to be able to have won today. Have a nice weekend all.

Cheers, Whit, sounds about right. I suppose the positive is that, although we are playing too cautiously, we are still in the playoff places, and surely at some point our plethora of strikers are going to get lucky!!
Think Tom needs a game off, and a talking to, he is incredibly gifted, and at least he hasn't got the whole weight of team expectation on his shoulders this season.

I think the problem is midfield and lack of support for fuller like whit said he needs somebody playing of him but unless they are injured surely we need fonz or tyson or grant playing on the other side rather than bishop

Bishop playing up at the top end is very negative. I would much rather give Marvin Z a chance and play the wings rather than pumping up long balls to fuller.
Can't be too critical though. We are missing Barry F and the team will take time to settle with so many new players. 20 points is a good return from the first 11 games. It might not be pretty but I just don't believe fans who say they would rather us lose and play attacking football.
We should be more positive at home but happy with where we are.
