Personally fon't think this is the answer but hey ho Blackpool are set to make a loan move for Barnsley midfielder Jacob Mellis. Mellis has been in and out of the Barnsley team this season and the reds do need to move players out in order to strengthen at the back where injuries have depleted the options available to Barnsley boss David Flitcroft. Barnsley are said to be considering allowing Mellis to leave on loan despite the fact that he started the last game. The Barnsley boss feels that he has an abundance of quality with the attacking midfielders at his disposal such as Mellis, Cywka, McCourt and Jennings. I personally feel it would be a mistake to let Mellis leave. He is a real talent and the Barnsley boss should be looking to get the best out of him rather than let him go. I feel that he along with Steele has been made a bit of a scapegoat this season and in fact most players in the squad have performed a lot worse than Mellis in the games played to date.
