Well I have calmed down now after a very strange night of football, not to mention the dead cert pen we should have in the first half, last time I checked wafting the ball away on the goal line with your hand was a stone wall penalty grrrr. But I think it highlighted a few issues and while i'm enjoying our start to the season a few things do worry me.
First of all is it time to kick young tom up the arse or bench him? last couple of games he has looked lost or like the world is on his shoulders, where is the Tom that went head on at defenders or cut in at speed across the box? maybe Paul has asked him to play different but he seems to get lost in the middle of the park at times.
Thought I would never say this but how much do we miss Barry in the middle a area that we do need to improve with another quality midfielder getting Dobbie the house elf was a good move but we are one player short of making a very good midfield.
And finally a question for Ted lol who would you rather have on the pitch Bishop or Southern I know which one I would choose even now and it would not be Bishop, I support anybody that pulls on a tangerine shirt But bishop clearly is out of his depth at championship level and if we are going to change to 4-4-2 half way through the second half maybe Chopra would be a better choice than bishop unless he is still not fully fit? after all he is a proven player and scorer at this level
just some random thoughts lol

Bishop, I noticed he gave away a free kick just outside the left hand side of our box against Huddersfield, similar to the one he gave away at Millwall which led to the penalty and changed the course of the game that night. At Millwall he had the ball just outside our area and only had to make a short pass to one our players, or at worse put it out for a throw in but instead turned 180deg and took on the attacker when it wasn't necessary. We just can't give away free kicks just outside the box, our record on set pieces is well known although lately I am not as concerned as much when we give away a corner, used to shake at the thought once upon a time. Against Charlton would like to see us re-enact the Bournemouth offensive, go for an outright attack from the start, put Fonz out on the left like we played him last season but from the start not at 70mins, with Ince out right and Fuller in the centre. Forest did this at Charlton on Tuesday night and scored a very early goal and last January at Charlton in the opening minutes the Fonz sent in a great cross for Kevin Phillips to just miss out on a goal when it hit the post, would have changed the whole game I am pretty sure that day. With Dobbie behind them we surely would create a good few chances, would like to see a win there Saturday after the disappointment of last January's encounter in the cold.
