I like GTF but he should stop bleating about how tough things are for a footballer. He has earned a lot of money doing something he loves and most people would swap places with him in a blink of an eye.
Even a "measly" £5K a week is £250,000 pa and I bet he has been paid double that a Blackpool at some point (not to mention a massive promotion bonus).
Now if he had been injured at the start of his career and got nothing in return then I might be a bit more sympathetic.
"Bills to pay".........what for his £80k car??
Get real GTF.

The bit that got me was the section where he had to play a certain amount of games to trigger the further year in your contract option if you have faith in your ability you would back yourself to achieve this, would you not?
a great servant but does need to let it go now and I'm happy that some of the power is returning to the clubs and not the players

If its between Dobbie and GTF then its Dobs for me. Can't see why you would have both.
I'll always be grateful for what he did for us but I don't think we'll miss him now.
He seems a little bitter. Hope he moves on and realises how much he achieved with the Pool. In the meantime I think he will scrape by.
