With rain due in the next few hours it will be a far cry from the blazing sunshine and temperatures in the eighties last season, but with luck the result will be the same. How many time though has a team at the top come unstuck against one at the bottom of the pile, well I am putting all thoughts of that to one side for tonight's meeting, even though our guys have travelled far and wide since Saturday's game which must have taken a fair bit out of them. Good luck to them tonight and those making the long journey south, for me it is just an hour and half away so relatively easy to get to.

I think PI will keep them focused on the job. I don't expect an easy game but with the current run we should/might have enough. Who would have thought that we would be fighting to maintain top slot. Keep your Whits about you the grounds OK but the tube journey can be interesting.

Going by car and parking 20 minutes walk away, just hope it is in the same place when I get back to it.

Home just before midnight, early morning walk and thought long and hard re the game last night. We scored first in what was a fairly even affair and thought that was it, all over but as I have said before it only takes one incident in a match and the game can change completely and it did just as we entered injury time first half. Bishop just outside the area left of our goal and close to the by line had the ball and could have quite easily instead of taking any chances put it out for a throw, instead took on the challenge of the Millwall attacker and fouled him, free kick into the box and in the melee that then occurred Osbourne's right hand appears to hook the ball away, penalty. Millwall should have been put to the sword in the first half but who would have thought they would come back like they did in the second half, I certainly didn't, but that goal put life into them and for the remainder of the game never looked like the team at the bottom of the table. They played like we did at Bournemouth on Saturday, chasing everything, they had the momentum and we had no answer to their challenge. Some of our guys looked out of sorts second half some both halves, whether it was all the travelling and two games in such a short space of time not quite sure but one or two certainly did not look match fit. A few days now to recoup then a different kettle of fish with Leicester on Saturday, think Ince snr will make a few changes, Robinson back, Orr, Tyler and Dobbie perhaps starting, we had a blip last night, bottom teams beat top teams sometimes, think I will take another walk.
