It seems such a long time since our last match, well the day has come and I will shortly depart for the south coast and although dull and drizzly I have no doubt the Tangerines will brighten things up. Should be interesting to see who PI plays today, can't wait.

They all showed some grit and determination yesterday, chasing the ball and yes we went there to win the game that was there for all to see.
Their goal came in their fist serious advance from a throw in not unlike ours in some respects but overall we had the edge over them for the first half.
We had players, Ince more than most who were looking for open spaces, our passing was good and at times it appeared the Bournemouth fans just looked in silence as we played the ball five six seven pases back and forth looking for the right moment to strike.
Didn't think anyone had a poor game, good team effort, sending off very harsh and I thought the ref was somewhat biased.
After the sending off it was a bit of back to the wall stuff and at times just getting the ball out of our half was an effot. Of the subs who came on thought Tyson was a lively character, perhaps a couple of games under his belt and we could see someone special there.
They looked all in during the last 5 mins of injury time, where on earth did that come from, they played themselves into the ground, fine effort all round, just hope they can rest up for Tuesday, that will be some mountain to climb given that Millwall took a battering yesterday and bottom of the league. Another two days and up the road again, I know on paper it looks like a dead certainty but it's a potential banana skin, a draw would be a good result.

Cheers Whit, few nosebleeds around from the dizzy heights still at the top!! (sorry, that's joint top for the Southern Media) He really does seem to have cracked the team thing, doesn't he? So we've got a defence who's quite secure, a battling mid, and starting to get a striker or two up to speed. Get over the manger of the month hoodoo, and we're looking good Enjoy Millwall and watch yourself, worst experience of my footy life at the Old Den

Yes Millwall is one place i will never go to watch football ever again its not a nice experience but always made better by 3 points, Just enjoying the ride at the moment we seem to have got back to being little old blackpool and long may it continue
would be happy if we could just get another attacking midfielder but up front it has to be one of the strongest line up we have had for a while with plenty of options

Great result but how costly's that sending off going to be come Tuesday? Saw the highlights only on the Football League Show and if that's a yellow card worthy offence then I'll show my arse in C&A's window! The lad was simply watching the ball as it came across him and never once looked at the other player before the clash occurred.....it was an accidental collision at worst and as such should never have been given a second yellow! Sounds like your observation a bout a biased ref were true Whit and when it's so obviously a poor decision, it's a farce that it can't be appealed.
Having said all that The Govenor does seem to have got things working well and for once in recent history, we appear to have a solid and resolute defence. Long may it continue and with our talent up front, we should prove to be a tough task for anybody in the Championship. I would love to see us bring in a Charlie Adams type of creative mid-fielder who could spray the ball around and then I think we could seriously contemplate promotion.
C'mon the 'pool, c'mon the 'pool!
