Charlie Adam was a sub for Stoke on Saturday & with hoofball Hughes in charge with no plan B, cant see Charlie getting much game time? I know its the first game & all that but just an observation based towards the end of last season aswell under Pulis, who imo is not to dissimilar to Hughesy! Would it be worth asking the question to bring the Prince home even if its just for a loan? Thoughts! Ps where is everyone?

Charlie will never return to pool as a tangerine player, what amazed me is on telly Pulis was screaming for Charlie to start and carried on saying that they need to start him up front with crouch! I did wonder why he did not do it himself last year then.
If Hughes is going to go for his plan A of long ball football he needs to start Charlie as he is one of the few in that team that can deliver the long ball

I just have this horrible suspicion that Charlie has had his best days, playing for us in a style that allowed him time and space to do what he does so well. He seems to be back to Rangers days, where the fans don't appreciate him, where managers play him out of position. He needs to be the midfield creative playmaker, and I think he needs to drop down a league to re find that. I too don't think he will ever return to us, but at somewhere like the Florists, he would become the star that we know he is again. It does make you drool, though, him with Fergie and Angel doing the work around him, with Ossie and Bash in reserve
