Oh dear looks like things are descending into the usual pre season chaos at pool, Its time to get it sorted before we become The Mary Celeste fc action is required. We need to withdraw the contract offers to those still out of contract they have had 6 weeks to make their minds up and seeing that the gary-mackenzie deal is about to fall apart due to personal terms yet again i can see us looking for a new manager very shortly if it does fall through.

Listen Karl if you can't stand the heat go and buy a sweet shop. To lose another manager, and no doubt our best player as a result, before the grass has even grown and a ball kicked would be suicide. Give us poor fans a break!!

should have turned up for training gtf even if you decide to leave, after all the club is still paying your wages for the next 6 weeks and the fitness work would have done you good no matter what you decide.
Blackpool remain in talks with Kirk Broadfoot about a new deal but have had not contact with Gary Taylor-Fletcher.
Both players are out of contract and neither returned for the first day of pre-season training on Friday.
They were among seven out-of-contract players offered new deals at Bloomfield Road, though Barry Ferguson is the only one to commit his future to the club so far.
Stephen Crainey is closing to reaching an agreement, and manager Paul Ince has told The Gazette that he is still in talks with Scottish defender Broadfoot.
However, the manager admits he has heard nothing from Taylor-Fletcher.
“I’ve spoken to Broady and we are still in negotiations with him,” revealed the Blackpool boss.
“I’ve not heard from Fletch, which is disappointing. I think sometimes players should have the decency to let us know what they are doing, so we can all move forward.
“Fletch has been brilliant for me and he’s a great lad, I have a lot of time for him.
“But it would be nice for him to tell us where he is and what he’s thinking.
“If he had a problem with money or whatever, then at least we could sit around a table, talk about it and try to find a solution.
“Just not to say anything leaves us in limbo.”
Pool’s squad flew to Portugal yesterday for a week-long training camp.
Alex Rae and Steve Thompson will take charge of the squad until Thursday, when Ince is due to arrive from a coaching course in Turkey.
Pool have been to Portugal for the past two seasons and Ince was happy to carry on the tradition.
“It will be 32 degrees out there and really hot,” said the boss.
“It’s nice to get away and get into a different environment.
“It gives us a chance to see where players are fitness-wise.
“The heat shows if they’ve done the work in close season or not.
“It’s not like in my day, when you could go away for eight weeks, get drunk, then run and be sick in the forest when you get back.
“In the modern game, players come back half-fit, so we don’t need to build a base for them.
“It will be great to get the lads together and blend any new players in.”

Why is anyone surprised, this is the way we do it, we don't run around like headless chickens, we take our time and I think PI would have had a good insight into the way the club proceeds prior to joining. All will be revealed in the next few weeks after they return from Portugal, some good news as well as disappointments no doubt.
