What a remarkable table going into the final games...... TEAM | PLAYED | G/D | POINTS | Cardiff Shitty | 45 | +27 | 86 | Hull Shitty | 45 | +9 | 78 | Watford | 45 | +28 | 77 | Brighton & HA | 45 | +24 | 72 | Crystal Palace | 44 | +10 | 68 | Horwich Ramblers | 45 | +8 | 67 | Notts Florists | 45 | +5 | 67 | Leicester Shitty | 45 | +22 | 65 | Charlton Asthmatic | 45 | +3 | 62 | Brumingham | 45 | -6 | 60 | Tractor Boys | 45 | -11 | 60 | Middlesboring | 45 | -7 | 59 | Derby Cunty | 45 | +2 | 58 | Dingles | 45 | 0 | 58 | Blackpool FC | 45 | -1 | 58 | Dirty Leeds | 45 | -10 | 58 | Chicken Farmers | 45 | -7 | 57 | Uddersfeel Town | 45 | -20 | 57 | Millwank | 44 | -10 | 55 | Sheff Weds | 45 | -10 | 55 | Peterboring | 45 | -8 | 54 | Barnsley | 45 | -14 | 54 | Wolves Ramblers | 45 | -12 | 51 | Brizzle Shitty | 45 | -22 | 41 |
The table's remarkable as it can be split into 3 equal sections......top 8 all still involved in the final promotion/play-off decisions......middle 8 occupying the "mid-table mediocrity" zone....and the bottom 8 all involved in the relegation issues. OK, you can take Cardiff and Brizzle out of the equation as they are promoted and relegated respectivley, but what about the rest? Hull and Watford are still up for the final automatic promotion slot but anybody down to Leicester are still in with a play-off shout. Also, at the other end, I'd have to say Wolves are my favourites to join Brizzle but who's going to get the other relegation berth? What are your thoughts? Shame we're not involved at the top, but hey, at least we're safe!

Oh what I'd give to see that as the league table on the BBC!!!!!
I think you're right, can never remember such an odd season at such a high level of football. Wonder what next season will bring, can't see any of the relegated clubs setting the world alight.

Its becoming a better league every year I think personally, does not do much for your nerves thats for sure but definitely makes it interesting. I was reading yesterday about QPR they have to shave off over 12 million from the running costs to play in the championship next season or its a straight 12 points deduction under the new financial rules. bet we are the only club in the championship that don't have to worry about a wage bill lol
could be worse if your a wolves fan because they are truly knacked if they go down and the crisp eaters are going to have to go on a player diet as well lol.
there are going to be a hell of a lot of players looking for clubs next season as they all adjust to the new rules.
if wigan go down i can still see them being the ones to watch next season for a straight return just down to their club and wage structure

When we beat WhoreBitch on Saturday, any result in the Florists-Fester game will put one of those teams in 6th (Florists if they win or draw, Fester if they win, so I reckon Hull to go up with Cardiff and Watford, Brighton, Palarse & the Florists in the play-off with Brighton coming through
at the other end, can't see Wolves escaping and it would take a miracle for the Chicken botherers to go down, so I reckon one of Barnsley, Peterborough or Wednesday to join them, Wednesday have the extra point and Peterborough have the better goal difference so going to say Barnsley to go down

As Brighton, Palace and Peterborough are easy journeys for me, I would like them to remain in the league. Agree with april, Cardiff, Hull and Watford and at the other end Barnsley, Wolves with City.
