Just wonder how many of you just renew your car insurance when it comes through the post without checking?
Mine came today and had gone up by £20 so was going to leave it continue but at the last min I decided to check on one of those comparison sites and was job smacked to find my car insurance with the same company being quoted at £220 less than the renewal through the post. When I rang them to complain they said they where aware of the issue but not to worry as they could price match it!
Well how bloody generous of them to match their own fooking price the robbing bastards, so i have now moved my policy and still saved £210 on principle best ten mins i have spent on the web

Fooks sakes Sherlock....do not get me going on the subject of motor insurance!! It makes my blood boil that something which has been made a legal requirement, has been put into the hands of private companies!! It's just a F****** license for the insurance companies to print money....it's just plain wrong! As it's a legal requirement it should be a scheme administered by the state, like the road fund license or the duty on fuel. It would be so simple to include a premium on the road fund license to cover the basic requirement of third party insurance, let's face it if the insurance companies are making a profit then so could the government and that profit could reduce the need for taxation elsewhere in the system. Rant over.

That is far to simple and straight forward mate and makes to much sense so unless we form our own party and win the election we are stuck with it. after all no matter which party you vote for they all seem to have rather wealthy figure heads and cabinets and are completely out of touch these days

In the next few days the renewal will arrive in the post and as ever I will get a comparison sight and quote that to my insurance company and after a word with a manager, so they say they reluctantly agree. The most annoying one is the AA, every January I have to go through the same thing. They send me a renewal for home start, relay and Breakdown and thank me for being a member for the past 16 years and yet when I go online the price is £40/50 cheaper. Then double check with the RAC and yes it is cheaper. Phone AA and tell them each year I have to go through the same procedure and they then agree the lower price. For those like my neighbour across the road who does not have a pc and thousands like him who don't know any different, they are just getting turned over, it's a bloody disgrace.
