For a few weeks now, it seems the top 10 of the Championship, seem reluctant to want to get promotion, as they all seem to be hitting the buffers and derailing all the good work they've done. I can't help but look at our points gained so far, and had Ollie still been in charge, we would not have had all the upheaval we've faced this campaign with pitches, managers coming and going and changes in tactics and think to myself, i've no doubt we could of made the play-offs minimum. It's all ifs and buts but lets just get our self safe and go again next season. With all the bottom sides winning, as the top ones are choking, it could be a record number of points this season to stay up and think it could take 58/59 pts for survival. Keep the faith guys/gals UTMP

I think had Karl appointed Ince instead of applecart we would be safe by now and in the top half of the division but i still say we need 57 points and i think we will be okay

You're right Rob. Any team that shows good consistancy would be in with a shout this season. 5 wins on the trot and your up there.
Just hope the guys keep cool and get us safe before the last game. Don't think I could stand that and the way our luck has been lately......

Agree totally, cos at best, having had such a pants of a season, we could still finish in the top half

Mathematically, we still have a chance of play-offs... I can dream right?

Tangerine Dream ? (for all those hippies out there)
The next two home games are the key to the whole season now. Would hate to need a win at Brighton or Bolton. AAAAHHHHH!

Just by way of a Ricochet Pete, I don't think the Dingles are going to do us any favours and Sheff Weds are closer to the drop than us so will fight like a wounded badger! Our secret weapon over these next 2 games has to be the pitch....their players won't have played on anything like it since they stopped playing parks footy on a Sunday morning!

The fact is in this league everyone is fighting for something. Really encouraged by our last two performances when down to 10 men. Hope they can retain that fight until the last game. How much are we going to regret Larry's return to Bloomers now. Worst game of the season for me. Still reckon Udders will go down but 3 points gained instead of lost to that rabble would make things a lot simpler.
