I think we were lucky there to loose him when we did. Watching the interviews he gave I can't see how he could give a motivational speech to the players. Also Karl picked up some Wonga along the way

Blackburn's owners are ridiculous, he seemed to be doing somewhat decent over there.
That being said, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, not a shred of sympathy.

I am soooo pleased for him, and that "hard case" Westwood. I would hope they are now both unemployable, 3 clubs in a season, 3 very poor records, and, just like Milwall, everybody hates them! Bear a grudge, me? Never

Not surprised by the sacking, one it's Blackburn after all and second Appleton is way out of his depth even in League 2. He deserted us to follow the money, now he has his just deserts! As said above ain't karma a b*tch! He's a bad Apple-ton and will rot in the farmers bin, trying to get another job!! Say hi to Giro Jim.

the players hated him at pool and he had no character or charisma and no idea except defensive football according to a good source

He looks a lot different Chef, to the one I remember from years ago, but then we all change over time.

He looks a lot different Chef, to the one I remember from years ago, but then we all change over time. when the Fun House burnt down many years ago (lordy I sound old now) , the only thing saved was the clowns head. It was then given a Tangerine make-over in our promotion season. If fact, they spent more on the clown than Karl did on the pitch...
