Not what we're used to, but it was clear that Bristol City we looking for them, and it might just work for us. One touch fast flowing football is simply not an option at Bloomfield Road
Get Broadfoot, Baps, Ozzy and Del boy up with Matt Derbyshire and Tom Ince for the knock down or rebound.
Matty and Tom should be running in the box at every opportunity.
Defence looks pretty solid so one goal might just do it. We don't look like scoring 2 or 3 at the mo Not pretty but at the moment who cares?

Agreed, said the same elsewhere. Matty and Angel banging a few corners in with the likes of Bambi and Super Mac on the end, both of whom appear to be very controlled headers of the ball, forwards snapping around the edge of the box, seems like a plan. Another 9 points, don't care how pretty, ugly, or late, just get 'em. Come on the Poooollll

I read somewhere, that English football clubs can now put down synthetic, astroturf pitches just like the old days of Luton, QPR etc, If were going to have these issues again next season, and Potter won't pay for a new pitch, surely this is the way forward for us that way we can still play our free flowing football. Otherwise Ince will have to look at signings to suit our pitch and we'll end up lumping it again, like in the bad old days! I know Saracens & Widnes rugby have them and no probs!

Anyone would think we're trying to grow rare orchids here..its only grass! Yes there is some science involved but its not of the rocket variety. Just employ a good company, that knows what they're doing, to install a new pitch, and make sure the ground staff have all the necessary skills and equipment to maintain it. I'm sure the club have learnt their lesson on this one and I fully expect a pitch to rival Wembley next year.
We can then start on the pink seat situation.

Rival Wembley next year, yer right you mean Wembley FC who play at Vale Farm in the Combined Counties League. For a moment you had me going there thinking of the other Wembley.

I meant the Wembley roundabout, on the road to Harrow, which is the envy of all London Borough Councils. Sponsored by B&Q I believe.

I know the pitch has been on the minds of most people and a few like myself would have liked to have seen a reserve side playing each week like we did in the old Central league days but can you imagine this season if we had a reserve team playing at Bloomfield it would be twice as bad as it is.
