Scottish defender Gary MacKenzie has left Dons to join Championship outfit Blackpool on-loan until the end of the season.
The centre back joins up with new Seasiders boss Paul Ince, who brought him to stadiummk when he was Dons manager in 2010.
It is a surprising switch as Dons have a small squad yet have allowed a senior player to leave.
MacKenzie has been limited to 17 appearances this season because of a hip operation earlier in the campaign.
The emergency loan has a recall clause.

Another Scot in the squad and maybe another coming as a coach. Have we got a scout up there or is it a clan thing?

At Leicester under Martin O Neill, both walsh and elliot were big, tall defenders who ended up having spells up the front to great effect. Neither were afraid to use their defensive strengths to bounce the opposition out of the way and they both scored frequently (something lacking up front for us this season!!). Interesting move.
