What a fine line it is between success and failure in the Championship this season. Looking positively, we could have won easily yesterday if we'd converted some of the chances, on the negative side it was yet another match we had loads of opportunities not taken. Apologies to any current players who stumble over here, but I feel we desperately need an out and out goalscoring, defence bullying, physical centre forward. Thomas and Matty flinging them in and playing off him, could transform their confidence, and we have to remember that we still have most of the team that played such sublime footy in August. Sandy, feel free to rollock me, but I just can't see it happening whilst we can't even appoint a manager. We are a long way from the worst we've ever been, we all know that, but I have always gone to B/R in hope, even through the depths of the 80's and 90's, have always felt that everyone from top to bottom in the club wants success. And I don't feel that at the moment. So if anyone could slip a word in Owen's ear, a proper manager and and an out and out striker, and who knows where we could end up!

What about Anderson Banvo, he can't be that bad, he was bought in for a reason and so far hasn't been released!
As for the new manager, with Karl's PR Dept, Thommo has probably been given it already, if not......................................yawn...............................

What I found most disappointing about Saturday was we played well and still came away with nothing, to me there are 2 main reasons and one of them is the pitch even if we do have to play on it more than the visiting team, its always been bad this time of year for the last 4 years but now its becoming a game leveler, our one year in the premier leauge saw sections of the pitch replace between games with some fresh turf and we should be doing it again Karl to get us to the end of the season. Why you can not have the area 20 yards from goal re turfed is beyond me when you have matty and tom coming in from those areas is beyond believe and somebody is going to pick up a serious injury before the end of the season. and secondly the 3rd forward position is a problem and even though he had a good game at the moment i don't think gtf should start in that front 3 when you have the fonz and derby who can play the central forward role, One advantage might be that one of them might be able to reach the area as the crosses come in and not like Saturday where we had plenty of crosses coming across the box from Matty or Tom but nobody to finish them off. As for the manager situation that is now a utter joke its clear nobody wants it and the only man with any passion for the Job is Tommo and Alan so appoint them and give him a target for the rest of the season Karl and then try and sort the right old mess out in the summer. As for Banvo i really don't understand why he has not even made it to the bench, He now has 20 plus goals to his name in the development squad and even if that squad is not up to first team standards the lad clearly knows where the bloody net is and breath, rant over

We,ve been mugged too many times at home this season. We just don't put games to bed and how many times do we go a goal behind before we get going. Its almost become the norm these days. A hate to say it but GTF simply hasn't performed in front of goal this season. Great link up play but we need a finnisher. How different things might have been if we'd kept Dicko.
On a possitive I though Matt Derbysire looked good and the team look up for it but we need some wins fast. Very quiet car on the way home.
PS Anyone going to this secret meeting with Karl? I'm not invited!

I've got just one.........Where's the money gone.
I do hope SISA manages to get some support and moves forward to challenge the Oystons "nothingness" for that is what they are displaying as leadership at present. They need to insist on answers, maybe take over BSA by force of numbers, and raise the present farce on a national basis.

BSA by invitation only. Time and date has to be kept confidential. No media.

BSA only, that means he is going to promise them a free case of lucozade for every coach they take to away games and Glen will get a free dessert in Rowleys if he takes 18 people up for a meal.

My question would be "Do you intend to compete to get back to the Premiership?"
Cos if the owners do not want to be there, at least we all know where we stand. The days of standing at Sixfields in the pouring rain getting beaten were always bearable, cos like every other footy fan, we dreamed "one day". Well, we now know it can be done, has been done, and could be done again even with our modest resources, IF WE GET A GOOD MANAGER, WHO GETS SOME DECENT SUPPORT AT REAL WORLD PRICES.

While not wanting to get involved in the lynch mob mentality i do have some questions I would like to see answered. But while not wanting to slate BSA i fear they will remain unanswered for the simple reason they have cuddled up to him over the years to much and are now a snapping crocodile with no teeth.
Here are my questions and propably why i would never get invited as most are money realted
1. Why has no permanent grounds person been employed to take care of the pitch and do what he/she can with the training ground for the last 5 years
2. why does the chairman's think his attitude towards the fan base is acceptable.
3. Will we find a interest free loan on the accounts this year 53K pinned to Karl double the 26,751 k from the previous year or is this in fact his salary?
4. what is the 97k paid to oyston seniors, other companies that offer no possible service to a football club would need like Claugton Hall Bisons ltd ?
5. Land was acquired to the tune of 1 million pounds over 2 years ago for a new training ground from land owned by the family which was at the time 4 times the lands value so where is the training ground?
6. Karl The 11 million paid to Owen which you claim can be called upon at anytime for the needs of the club has not been called upon Pitch,Players,Training ground so why not? and also unless called upon in the 2013/14 season it will not be allowed to be used in that way under the new financial fair play rules that come into force fully in 2015
7. Why has the total club assets gone down from 12 million to 8 million even though all the new additions to the ground like the east stand and supports bar
8. As touched on earlier why does Owen need a interest free loan from the club to the tune of 275k that is still outstanding from 2010 surely out of the 11 million directors fee as shown on the accounts he could have paid back his personal loan? just think you could have then used the 275k on the pitch?
9. and finally the most alarming of all which nobody seems to have picked up on is that the club/footballing side had cash at the bank and in hand a lowly sum of 2.7 million and after the 800k overdraft was paid off that was roughly £1,953,948 now that sounds like a petty cash fund when it comes to running a football team in the championship, but the major problem is that 2 million belongs to uncle val who deposited the money into the club account so in fact the club is £46,052 overdrawn!! if he removed his money.
10. so explain where its all going please and what plans you have for the remaining 12 million in parachute money?

All I can say Sher is that I'll pass that on, but I'm sure you know how difficult it will be to pin him down on finacial matters. I wouldn't be surprised if its all blocked as a "mind your own business" and "what have you lot got to complain about" type response. My mate is being very cagey about when the meeting is cause thats the way he is. If you ask him to keep a secret he will. If it was me it would be all over the place by now, but thats probably why I'm not invited lol. He did say it was "soon". I'll certainly find out what was said and report back though.

I know pete, but that is the job the gazette should be doing but they are to scared to take it forward its not as if its secret information it is freely available in the public domain.
all we need is some organization who have the nerve to ask and tell the fans what answers they gained even if its no comment

Anyone asking awkward questions would not be allowed through the frond door, and thats the problem for the Gazette. They rely on access to report the news and daren't push it too hard in case they get banned from interviewing anyone in the know. The gazette have no axe to grind and as for "representing the readership" thats just bxxxxcks. We've all said it before but BFC need a media savy PR company, but you just know that one step out of line and they will be sacked...or not paid....or both.
The BSA won't ask, as they are completely toothless, and the new group (SISO or something)have to be careful they offer a true reflection of the fans in a mature way rather than ranting and posturing. Its a fine line when you want to support the club but attack the Chairman and I can't see them pulling that off somehow.
HAHA" Fine line" back on topic. See what I did there?
