Oh joy another chance for our Chairman to make more bad press for the club, if he is not for sale Karl just tell them and then the phone will stop ringing Reading manager Brian McDermott is awaiting Blackpool's response having submitted a formal offer for England Under-21 forward Tom Ince. Ince, 20, who has scored 15 goals in 27 appearances for Blackpool this season, is also being monitored by Liverpool. Reading's bid is understood to be just below Blackpool's £8m valuation, while Liverpool do not want to go above £6m. "We are waiting for Blackpool to come back to us, we shall see where it goes," McDermott said. “ He deserves a lot of respect for what he has achieved since leaving Liverpool 18 months ago ” Brian McDermott on Tom Ince "He is a Blackpool player so it is difficult for me to comment. "But he is a player of real quality. He can play in the number 10 role, on the right and the left. "He has fantastic feet, loves his football, scores goals, creates goals and has got a real hunger about him. "Having said that, he is a Blackpool player so I wouldn't normally talk about a player who doesn't belong to us. "But he deserves a lot of respect for what he has achieved since leaving Liverpool 18 months ago." Ince had been expected to return to Liverpool during the transfer window but a disagreement over his value has brought that deal to a halt. McDermott is hopeful that the lure of regular first-team football may persuade Ince to move now.

I hear the offer of £7m has been rejected. Wouldn't be a good move for our Tom anyway as they could well go back down.
Stick with us Tom and look at your options in the summer

I will be amazed if Tom Ince is still a Pool player on Friday morning as Karl has got what he wanted a bidding war between Reading and Liverpool with Reading alleged ready to try 8 million. What we need is SSN to say "as they understand it" then it will all fall through

I would take £10 mil if we could spend the same on new players. Otherwise forget it. Like to see a loan back too but that won't happen either.
My gut feeling is that Karl daren't sell

Reading could increase their offer for Blackpool winger Thomas Ince, 20, to £8m according to the Reading Evening Post. The Royals have already failed with a £6.5m offer

Poor old Karl, damned if he does, damned if he doesnt.
Cant believe young Thomas would want to go to Reading anyway, its not much of a step up for him is it?
His dad will guide him methinks.
UP THE POOL

If he gets a offer of 10 million he can not really refuse as that amount will not be on offer next season, The only issue is does a manager who ever that might be get some of those funds for next season?. 8 million and loaned straight back would be good but can not see Liverpool doing that

Looks like Loserpool & Readiculous are looking elsewhere !!!
We've got a bumpy enough pitch already without Karl digging it up to bury another wedge of cash
