Here is what the Barnsley fans think of Wiseman strange for a player who was attracting premiership interest a few months ago
Barnsley have accepted a bid from Blackpool for Scott Wiseman, the offer is undisclosed but is believed to be a six figure sum.
The Barnsley fans have driven Wiseman out of the club after he became a target for the boo boys and made a scapegoat for recent defeats.
Barnsley fans have never taken to Wiseman from his first game at the club where he was selected instead of Bobby Hassell.
Wiseman has made a few mistakes recently but I cannot condone fans booing a player especially to the extent that Wiseman received.
He began the season well playing out of position at centre half as we recorded a number of 1 - 0 victories early on.
His form had dipped of late and mistakes had crept in and should have either been dropped or moved to full back earlier than the manager did but this was a player clearly lacking in confidence due to the stick he has received from fans.
I feel it is better for both parties that Wiseman moves on. If I were him there is no way I would want to stay at Barnsley and receive treatment like that. The only way he can continue his career is away from Oakwell.
The Barnsley fans will never take to Wiseman no matter what he does so it`s obvious the club have made the only decision possible and that is to cash in on him whether or not any new manager would like him in their plans.

I remember Adam, Crainey and more recently Osbourne came in for stick before moving here. Sometimes it works out for a player and sometimes not. I hope he settles well and proves them wrong.
Does this signal a move for Eards I wonder?

I hope i'm wrong but if Wiseman is being bought in as a replacement for Baps, then one that spells the end of our attacking play and two, we are in real trouble if thats the best we can get. Also my mate down here in MK is a Uncle Festa ST holder and he told me majority of the fans don't rate Baps and said he would be lucky to warm their bench!!!! Grass and all that Baps!!!!
