For the second match in a row Blackpool comprehensively outplayed the opposition but failed to record a victory.
In truth this was an utter stuffing and if it was a Boxing Day boxing match the referee would have stepped in fairly quickly to put Huddersfield out of their misery.
Taylor-Fletcher was recalled to the starting lineup and had a magnificent chance to score inside the opening 30 seconds but fired his chance into the top tier of the stand behind the goal when he only had the keeper to beat from the edge of the area.
Two minutes later he had the chance to make amends, he played a lovely ball out to the wing and the cross was put plop on his head from Thomas but his header hit the outside of the post when scoring looked the easier option.
Blackpool absolutely dominated, it was like an FA Cup match between a top Premier League team and a struggling non-league team, Huddersfield were easily the worst team I have seen this season.
Further chances were created and squandered, Thomas screwed wide, YaYa Osbourne sauntered through the defence but couldn't apply the finish and Ince would be the complete player if only if had a right foot.
The Huddersfield defenders hoofed at every opportunity and one hoof was very nearly sliced in for an own goal.
How the scores were level at half time was a complete mystery, Huddersfield could have had no complaints at all if they had found themselves five or six down at the break.
I thought that Dicko should have come on at half time in place at Thomas, he is someone who does have a finish on him but seems out of favour for some reason under the new manager.
Blackpool started the second half as they played the first, creating chances but not finishing them, and the longer it went on the more inevitable it bacame that Pool would conceed and in the 66th minute they duly did.
Huddersfield had done absolutely nothing until they won a freekick for handball on their left wing, the ball was played in and glanced behind for a corner. Everyone knows that Pool cannot defend corners, the ball came in, Gilks flapped about, the defenders obligingly didn't mark the attackers and a free header from Anthony Gerrard gave the hosts the most undeserved lead of all time.
Blackpool eventually made a substitution, about 25 minutes too late, Delfounseo coming on for Thomas and Pool continued to push forward whilst Huddersfield tried to waste as much time as possible.
Taylor-Fletcher missed another glorious chance with a dreadful header over the bar when unmarked on the edge of the six yard box. Dicko finally did get on the pitch but too late to make any real impact and them past-it striker Kevin Phillips came on for the most creative player on the pitch, Tiago Gomes.
Two minutes of the four allowed at the end of the match had passed before Pool finally put the ball in the net. Ince made Keith Southern look very silly when cutting into the area and crossing for Delfounseo to flick the ball home.
It was the very least that Pool deserved and, despite the injury time equaliser, the draw felt like a defeat. It was the most one sided match imaginable and for Pool not to win was very hard to swallow.
Blackpool desperately need someone who can finish, the chairman refeuses to sign such a player as they cost money and that is why the previous manager left.
Taylor-Fletcher's shooting is worse than abysmal and Wes Thomas is nothing more than a League 1 reject.
There were disgraceful scenes in the away end with a number of Blackpool fans chanting the name of a former player before, during and after the match. The simple question is why? There is absolutely no need for it. You don't see the fans of other clubs behaving in such a way.
Surely Blackpool's luck in front of goal must soon change and someone will be on the end of a jolly good tonking.
