Your spot on rob I remember turning up at Bloomfield as a lad hoping for a draw or at worst not to much of a heavy defeat lol. We have to some extant become a victim of our own success. its been a bit like a weather forecast at Bloomfield the last 30 odd years. Dull and overcast with the odd break in the cloud for sunshine lol and i would not swap it for the world You and Rob are both talking about 30 years ago - when I had a season ticket, about 7/8 years ago, I remember being shocked when we won at all. Our defence at the end of games was even worse than it is now, it seemed like every single game we'd concede at the end, and throw it all away, the club was going nowhere, middle of League 1 every year.

When KO is criticising the wage bill, how does it compare to rest of Championship? I suspect that even though we have a massive squad, our wage bill is relatively modest. There is scope for one or two of the development squad to actually develop and be worth a lot of dosh, and I think Karl is not factoring this possibility in at all!!

Our wage Bill is 2.9 Million more than last year, the deal was that at least 8 of these players would have no problem going out on loan for the season thus keeping the Wage bill at a reasonable level but it aint happening

That'll make a dent in the Charlie Adam money.
Still don't understand the idea of bringing a player in on a short contract with a view to loaning him out. Am I missing something?
