Blackpool midfielder Barry Ferguson may make a surprise loan move away from Bloomfield Road.
Ferguson, who has appeared in six of the Seasiders' 11 npower Championship matches this season, was initially named in the squad for Saturday's derby defeat at Burnley before agreeing to stay in Blackpool and train. The decision followed discussions between Bloomfield Road boss Ian Holloway and the 34-year-old former Scotland international, who is out of contract this summer and eyeing more frequent game-time amid reported interest from Middlesbrough and former club Birmingham. Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette: "Barry and I have had a chat. He thinks he should be playing every week. He hasn't been nasty about it - he believes he needs to play every week. "He's not used to not playing, so I might loan him out. He knows he's out of contract in the summer and he knows other people might want him. He's been totally respectful and he trained back in Blackpool on Saturday." The departure of one of Blackpool's biggest earners could free up room for Holloway to make his own moves in the loan market, and he added: "One club rang me over the weekend and said we could take our pick of their players, so we can look at that. If we have to bring Barry back, then we can in 28 days."

I'm not too surprised about this. He's not an automatic choice these days, which is not great as captain. Mind you who would you choose to replace him?

If Osbourne can regain his form, our early mid of Ossie, Angel and Gomes still excites me. With Sylvo or Grandin as the creative alternative to The Seagull!
I think Angel is more likely to regain confidence if he knows he is not constantly likely to be replaced by the club captain
And whilst I'm on a roll, a frontline starter of MP, GTF and TI, please, unless the loanee is an out and out striking poacher.

Not surprised at all, though funny enough i prefer him to Osbourne!! I would like to see Robertson given a chance, as he is solid in defence and has an eye for a goal unlike Ossie and Fergie! Just while were at it, sorry if i upset anyone with this but im entitled to my opinion and Delfouneso is one of the worst players i've seen pull on a tangerine jersey and their been a few (McIlhargy) hahahahahaha no speed, no power, no vision and for a big man no height! USELESS!!!! Im sorry to say but we are missing Dobbie big time, getting into them congested areas and using his footwork to unlock defences and freeing players, also he's not afraid to have a shot! rant over but 3 pts tomorrow a must as otherwise i'll be looking down rather than up as our current form is relegation nether mind promotion!!!

Rant on Rob!!
He started so well, and I certainly wouldn't say he was the worst I'd ever seen in a Pool shirt ( you must be younger than me LOL) but I was a tad surprised to see him in an England shirt. Maybe yet another of our strikers who needs to get a goal under his belt again to start performing.
Love to see the little maestro Dicko getting game time again
