Always a time of year for reflection for me, don't know about the rest of you. 11.00 am for me yesterday was spent on the Isle of Wight ferry, just about to leave for Portsmouth. We stood at the front, looking over the Solent to Portsmouth, where my dad spent part of the war training. He passed on some 19 years ago, and the last place I ever took him out for the day was down to Southsea to see some of his old haunts. Pretty emotional Used to be on parade with the ATC as a kid in Poulton, why was it ( in memory only) a very cold frosty day? Gets you thinking that all the footy stuff, though it seems important, actually, it's froth. We do remember them

I spent 11 am yesterday looking to the sky remembering all those un sung heros, because that is what they are and will always be hero's the bravest of the brave
