As usual, IH is spot on, but cannot see the greedy Prem clubs doing anything other than keeping the money. Their intent has been signalled with the rules for youngsters, where the top clubs have given themselves the right to take any player from a lower club for a maximum of £100k

The stupid thing is so many youngsters are going to waste and fall out of love with the game. its alright taking all the youngsters but what about the 200 that were released end of this season from the academy's. the chances of them all getting somewhere else is slim.
and here is a problem at the age of 16-18 they are still developing but it seems if they are not going to be next Rooney straight away the clubs are not interested.
We picked up ince because he wanted to play football and not another 4 years hoping that somebody at Liverpool might give him a chance, Makes you wonder just how many good footballers everybody is missing out on.

Look at Baps before he joined us, and DJ, come to that, many many players develop late. And how many good players are not played or forced out of position cos there is an untouchable already there, eg Gerrard.
Not their problem, though, is it, as long as they get the early cream

Ollie is spot on, about grass roots and the money not being filtered down to develop young raw talent! Where does the money go, in the overpaid prima donas skyrocket to spend down ladbrokes after training! At least Ollie has an interest in young hungry players that want to develop, especially at our club, because youth is the future and the only way forward for every club at whatever level.
