I see the chicken farmer rumors have started regarding Ian.. No chance Blackburn, just face facts you will have to find somebody else who is insane enough to take the job
BLACKPOOL are again having to contend with rumours surrounding the future of Ian Holloway.
The Seasiders boss is this time being linked to the manager’s vacancy at Blackburn Rovers.
Reports elsewhere suggest the 48-year-old is high on Rovers’ wish-list. It has been claimed the club’s Indian owners, Venky’s, are to turn to Holloway after missing out on Tim Sherwood due to compensation issues with Tottenham, where he is a coach.
As yet there it’s no more than paper talk and it was business as usual for Holloway this morning as he took training at Pool’s Squires Gate training ground. After a week off, Pool’s first-team squad returned to work today to prepare for Saturday’s derby at Burnley.
Swansea and Birmingham were both interested in Holloway last summer, though it is unlikely Blackburn would appeal to the Pool boss. He publicly criticised Venky’s when they sacked Sam Allardyce and would have little time for their interfering ways.
Speaking before the Rovers speculation broke, he told The Gazette: “I’m more determined than ever to finish what we’ve started here.
“I’ve just moved into a new house in Lytham with my wife. What more commitment do you want than that? I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved here. It was miraculous we did what we did and I want to do it again.”

You would have to be desperate to take the Blackburn job but unfortunately there are a lot of desperate out of work managers around with no ethics or moralistic attitude. Thanks goodness Sir Ollie doesnt come under that description.
UP THE POOL

Failing club, financial problems, interfering owners, unhappy fans, small gates
He would have to be completely barking, when he has got the project of his dreams at Blackpool.

Nobody in the right frame of mind will touch the job and considering Ian has spent the week telling everybody he is sane and serious we are okay lol

Some peeps think Ollie is barking mad and quite frankly if he took the Rovers job, i would have to agree. The biggest jokers in English football are Blackburn at the moment and to think they can get Ollie, just makes me laugh till it hurts, if they can't afford compensation for Tim Sherwood, what makes them think they can get the best manager outside the Prem! The Venky's think they are playing Championship manager and need to get their heads out of each other's holes, no wonder the Rovers fans want them out!
