Yes while the country starts to sink under the rain, I rather enjoyed the advantages it has brought to my place of residence.. No sod taking short cuts through the village to get to work... peace has returned if only for a day or so ;D at least my dog could find one of the roads into the village this morning Now the police have put nice big signs up saying road closed but some fools decided to ignore them last night and so far we have 2 white vans and a ford focus acting as a modern art water feature down one road.... hoping to catch a nice Merc or BMW later ;D Just seen a silly girl in a fiat 500 go down the road did try to stop her but she was to busy doing her hair, might nip back out with a towel and ask if she needs rubbing down in a bit

Not sure there actually are salvage rights on wet Mercs, worth a go, I guess lol
Was very glad of our 4x4 last night on the way home, motorway was quite tasty, lorry over at junction 35, lots of roads barely passable around here

Difference being you know how to use a 4 x 4 mate not like the school run ones round here. A nice new 4 x 4 has added itself to the new water attraction... the clue is in the sign road closed ..... idiots
