So tomorrow is the logical day to look at the loan market as taking somebody tomorrow on a 3 month loan will see you through till the 1st of January when the stupid transfer window reopens.
I fully expect DJ or badge chewer as some call him lol to arrive on Monday and would be shocked to see him turn up tomorrow but where else do we need to get some cover or indeed push for a starting place

Until the match this week, I didn't think we needed anyone else. Perhaps cover at the back, our defence does seem to get crocked, and maybe a more experienced cover for Gilks.
However, looking at the way the 'Udders were set up to beat us, and the way our team responded (or didn't as the case may be) , introducing DJ might just add that bite to the front line. He scraps for the ball with their defenders, holds it up beter than anyone I have seen since Heskey played for Leicester, and scores as well. Uddersfield aren't going to be the only club in this division to set up like that, and I am not sure that our present front-line and supporting midfield has the battle now Gnashers has moved on.

Personally we need someone in at right back, Eardley just looks awful in all aspects of the game, He needs to learn that if Crainey pushes forward, he cannot go aswell, we cannot be leaving two on two at the back, that is just suicidal as we found out v Uddersfield. To me he just looks out of form and lacking some confidence, maybe time for Jake Caprice to have a go! or look at getting someone in on loan to keep him on his toes!

Maybe all aspects of his game his harsh lol but got to agree even his passing has fallen apart at the moment. Would like you say rather see crainey go forward and eards stay back.
But the right hand-side is the problem at the moment on the left you normally have Ince Crainey and Gomes all linking up on the left and nothing really on the right, Having the right hand side sorted might help Matty as well

Couldnt agree more about Eardley. I have always thought him a slightly weak link because his concentration levels seem to be a bit suss. He seems to amble along at times but to be fair that could just be his demeanour. Would love to see some hungry, up and at em player at right back.
But, Ollie rates him and I suppose we cant argue too much with that.

He does wobble a bit when under pressure but to be fair the 2nd and 3rd goals on Monday were from set pieces had absolutely nothing to do with him. The first goal we were caught out as a team. Its corners and free kicks we need to look at and I'm sorry but Gilks has to take responsability in these situations.
