Well with having to wait till Monday night for another fix of our tangerine dream, I had a look round some Huddersfield boards to see what they think.. not many are looking forward to it.
Think we'll show up, but that you'll sneak it by a goal - Ince looks too good to keep out for 90minutes
Haven't got the foggiest to be honest - we have been competitive against every team so far this season, but you guys are scoring for fun so it will be interesting to say the least! If we pick up anything I will be delighted.....but I said that last night at sheff wed and we deserved to win there so who knows what may happen. Have a soft spot of holloway - his teams are always pleasing on the eye....just hope ince, Phillips and gtf get a dose of the deli bellies at the weekend and have to missout on the game!!!!!
You guys are the real deal and will be a real test for us. Fancy you to win by two.
3-1 I'll go for.
I'd be thrilled to bits with a point tbh. Blackpool are flying.
Thank you for Mr Southern btw.
I think we're going to get thrashed.
i think this will be the proper 'welcome to the championship' and we'll get a bit of a seeing to...but you never know, town always surprise one way or another
this is the game where we get tonked ... possibly
if we get anything above 0 points, its a good result imo
Blackpool were shite at Oakwell last Saturday. Should have been well out of the game in the first half. There for the taking. 2-0 Town.
We'll give 'Pool such a thrashing that Holloway will runaway, and join the circus.

I do fancy us in this one especially in the last 20 mins. They simply will not know how to deal with our pace and one touch passing. I expect an even first half and then bang bang bang goodnight.

Shite at Oakwell?
Must've been watching a different game to me. There was no point when we should've been out of the game. We should've won easily.

A nice slick wet pitch will help our passing game and knowing Keith likes a tackle, i can see him being sent off but then again if our Spaniards get a sniff of a Monday night swirling wing by the seaside they could go missing and i don't mean from the game! Hope the game goes ahead, we have to many postponements for my liking! If we really go for the Hudds throat, we could be out of sight after half an hour! but we are on Sky!

I can't see this going ahead, which is a shame as I am in Manchester at 6pm and was going to come over for my first home game of the season. I will monitor closely, however, my other interest is weather extremes and forecasting, and I would say that the volume of rain between 12-8pm will wash away most of the south and west stands after the are blown down.
You may find that it is cancelled as it is too dangerous for uddersfield to get to bloomers.

Do you reckon there's any real chance of the game going ahead? I was planning on watching it, but being in Aus, it'd mean getting up at 4:30 in the morning, and I don't want to do that just to find out the game has been cancelled.

Personally can not see it going ahead been raining lightly for 12 hrs now and the heavy weather is not due till 4pm lasting tlll around 8pm.
Years ago the pitch would have drained easily but since the construction works it is no where near as good at draining now.
If we had some inflatable covers it would not be a problem, we might get lucky but very much doubt it
