We all know what Bloomfield Road - the ground - looks like from different aspects: 'a worm's eye view' from sitting in the first half dozen rows of the stands.. 'above the goalposts' sat in row x or similar.. but for a different perspective, I give you - [ cue fanfare, roll of drums, and dancing troupe enter stage left.....] 'A Bird's Eye View' of our Hallowed Turf......... 'The Matthew's Years''The Division 1 Years''The Ollie Days'Doesn't it look grand! YL. p.s. Seems I've got it, eventually - Thanks, Sher.

The Matthew's years meant 12 years for me watching them in the first division, another 12 years would be most welcome Yeni.

Absolutely, Whit, and how are you - .. finished your project, yet......? you've been conspicious by your absence, you know ... Any chance of you making either Stoke or Bolton games? There's still some individual/single tickets available, as I've just got one for each match earlier today at the Club office. YL.

Excellent Yeni, don't the first one bring back a few memories?
Parking on the old train lines, sub worms eye view from the front of the Scrattin Shed, tatty earth mound that was the back of the Kop, back alley to the Shed, ball went over the west, never seen again.
And now look at our lovely modern stadium, paid for by the end of the season, probably about right size if the corners filled ( unless we get an influx of nobbers wanting to watch decent football next season!!)
This sure is the best trip

Yes, fine thanks Yeni, the electro magnetic energy project is ongoing for at least another year and yes fine health wise thank you. Will go along to the Lane and am I correct in thinking the Bolton game is a 12.45 ko, if so, makes it a little difficult for a days drive.

Yes, 12:45 hours on Saturday 14/05/2011. What a ko, just time enough to get down a quick (liquid) lunch! Unfortunately. I'd been trying for months (since the start of the season, at least!) to get those pics on here, and failed every time, until Sher got me thru 'photobucket.' Ye Olde brings back a few memories - the ball over the west stand, never to be seen again, for example.... YL.

I was lucky enough to spend a couple of years on the old kop and as a small child the view was amazing, except on the way out if the steps did not get you all the bricks lying around at the bottom made you nearly break your ankle lol
