This Saturday last year I was just getting ready for the trip to Wembley, a trip that a couple of months earlier had not even crossed my mind. The previous November Ted had asked me as we made our way to the Reading game where I expected us to finish the season and I told him between 12 and 15th which I thought in Ollie's first full season would have been a success. Not until that game at Peterborough did I think it was possible to make a play off position and then the Forest games, probably our finest performances bar Wembley sealed promotion to the Premier league. This Sunday Old Trafford will have the pleasure of seeing the colours for the first time for many a year although a lot smaller in number that at Wembley, playing against United will not be the same as Cardiff but if the guys play with the same mind set as we have seen in the last few games, who knows. To be honest I thought some while back that we would be safe when we visited Old Trafford and that for once we could just sit back with nothing to lose and enjoy the moment, how wrong could I have been. We can all look back to those games which in the last few mins we have conceeded and think how safe we could have been now but that's football , whatever the outcome of our game and the others which will determine our next season it has been a great year and thanks to all the players and Ollie, Thomo and co. for the experience. Good luck to them all 1600hrs Sunday 22 MAY 2011
