Phew thank god its weekend.
It's been a rather busy week for the pool and probably resulted in the loss of hair and finger nails for some pool fans.
The week started with a dark cloud hung over Bloomers with no real sign off activity on the transfer market and the continuing media blackout from bloomers and the ongoing Charlie saga with Liverpool.
Then Charlie got his move and good luck to the lad he will always be a tangerine great and as some have said the best player to grace our pitch in the last 30 years.
The morning after his move thunder clouds where gathering again as it dawned on many that the Number 26 had gone and the club where keeping tight lipped about the fee, we will not find out the true amount too about this time next year so no point on dwelling on it.
Ollie had gone silent the club was silent and the fans were starting to bang the war drums towards Karl, the transfer rumor mill was hitting over time as more and more players where linked with us but still nothing happened and a feeling of deja vu started to hit many.... Please not last year all over again.
Then suddenly the club stirred into action with the news that Crainey had resigned and then Gilks who seems to be on some sort of numb nut trip at the moment.
Then the news came that Mr Blackpool Evo had penned a new 2 year deal and suddenly the clouds started to lift over Bloomers and the day continued with the youngsters penning new deals
The forum started getting heated, over certain things as people tried to keep up with all the coming and goings and interviews being given with players.
Who else signed or got on the plane last night still remains a mystery but i am sure the club will finally get round to telling us.
Times are changing for the better as Ian has taken his charges away for a week of training in days off old anything like that would have been done on the cheap, but last night lots of players where gob smacked to find themselves sat in the private business class lounge waiting for the flight.
Well done on that one as they seemed very happy and shocked lol especially some of the old stays like Gnasher.
As for Sir Ian if your wondering why he is so quiet and have missed the gazettes explanation through a rather awful podcast here is the answer.
He just wants to get on with the football side at the moment and informed them that he really had nothing to say as nothing had happened squad wise.
Well hopefully that has changed now and Ian can start to work his magic.
So lets move on look forward to a new season and keep getting the players in (yes Karl we have all spotted that you seem to have lost the cheque book again)
and on a final note good look to David who completed his move to Sunderland yesterday.
So who's for repeating it all next week lol the life of a pool fan
