..or is it just me? Every time I read a match report of 'Pool's game in the papers, I often wonder - “How did Blackpool play?” “How were our goals crafted?” “How did the players react?” “What were Ollie's thoughts?” Nothing! Zilch! Nada! Hacbir bicimde! It all seems to be about the other team, irrespective of who they are, to my mind. A case in point was our 5-0 defeat of Bristol City last Saturday, which should have got them waxing lyrical about us, but no: OK, the seven opening sentences specifically related to the Loanee from Liverpool (Shelvey) and how he came to the Club, blah blah blah. (Charlie Adam got a mention, though.) The next five lines were about 'Pool's goalscorers.... ….and the rest of the article - around half of the report – was about the misfortunes of the 'Robins' and quotes from their Manager on that issue. And this appears to happen week in, week out. Don't the press down here like Blackpool, or like actually writing about us, even? Or is it me, in my dotage, not being able to read between the lines written by those so-called soccer hacks? Am I missing something here? What have we done to apparently upset them to the extent that they cannot even give us a decent write-up? Does your paper do any great coverage of 'Pool's games like I've mentioned above, or....... YL.

"Don't the press down here like Blackpool", have you moved to London Yeni, because if you have moved south you will have to get used to it unless you follow Man U or Liverpool, it is like that most weeks. Never mind next year with luck, they will be writing about the breath of fresh air, big dipper rides and Blackpool the only team to reach the Premiership spending less than £1mil. Happy days.

Seems to me if you aren't a London/ Sourth East club or one the faceless media elite deem a "big club", you won't get much coverage
