As stated in a previous thread, Christmas is not celebrated in Turkey as much as we do in the UK, - the New Year is more their celebration - but for those residing there at this time of the year, a wee bit of home never comes amiss:

There was a Christmas Market held at the Alanya Port Square Waterfall on the 11th - the 2nd Noel Bazaar – usual Christmassy items and stalls – followed by the first ever international Christmas market in Alanya, on Sunday, December 19, run by the Norwegian Church of Alanya.
The 'Blue Parrot Restaurant' is having a Christmas Dinner bash, and Antalya’s first-ever Christmas market was organized by the Alanya Municipality Foreigners Assembly on Sunday just gone -.

Alanya Municipality Foreigners Committee and the association PATIKA will organize a New Year concert for the handicapped people on 26 December at the Alanya Kultur Center, music being provided by the Asya Music Group and will begin at 19:30.
What's the weather like? At the moment, Alanya is slightly wet and windy, though it was around 13C earlier, tomorrow will be (hopefully) 17C, but Christmas Day a bit cooler at 14.
And for what I believe would be the 'bash' of the Holiday -
New Years Eve (Hogmanay to the uninitiated) Party at the Red Tower Brewery, overlooking Alanya harbour:
starting at 8 pm and going on to the wee sma' hours, there's an Open Buffet with Appertizers, Salads,.Steaks and various fruits
AND all local drinks and beers free .
Live music by Donald and Katherina - we met them a couple of times in September and they are very good – an entertaining combination of C&W, rock, and Golden Oldies, and humour.
Surprise Gifts, together with a Belly Dancing show.
Free pick up from Avasaller, Mahmutlar, & Konakli.
All for the pricely sum of 49 euros.
