Well, my merry little HollowaysTangerines, another year in our journey through life is almost at an end. Always a time of reflection, to remember the good times and the bad times. So what were your highs and lows, more than 1 if you like.
Highs Bolton at home, what a heck of a game, made the real cup look what it was, boring. Manu, daring to believe for a while, this season, Leeds and the comments from opposing fans who suddenly seem to see little old Blackpool as the big guys.
Lows, the end of the Manu game, West Ham on the 1st Feb when we just didn't turn up, same for Wigan. And of course that post appearing on the site from Mickyg in the summer, gone but not forgotten.
Still riding the rollercoaster, and feeling quietly optimistic for the 2nd half of the season.
Wishing you all a happy, healthy New Year, hopefully see some in F&B's on Monday?

Too many of both too number, but the sad passing of BJC was the lowest.

The high for me was being at this time last year in 8th place, the low going down at the end of the season coupled as Lou said with death of BJC. On this day last year most of us probably thought we would stay up even with the possibility of Charlie going in the January sales, little did we know what was round the corner. Looking on the bright side the team, even with the loss of certain players has done much better than I thought it might and they have played some great football at times, we just need a little more consistency, keep cool for 90 mins and a little bit of luck.

HighsWhuppin' Scouse in January after giving them a dose of the same on their patch - in fact, all wins (and draws) in the Prem. In a nutshell - being a 'Pool fan. Lowsno more BJC, especially him 'holding court' at F&B's. losing to Man U on the last day and being relegated : . . . hoped and prayed for a draw, but it wasn't to be. the loss of 'Prince Charlie' for such a miserable fee. So, here's to another year, of good fortune, I trust, which will propel Blackpool FC back into the Prem, and to all on here, whether you post or look - All the Very Best for the New Year and.... Lang may yer lum reek. Slainthe Mhor! Serefe! YL. (your friendly camel-master)
