I am perhaps being a trifle optimistic but I will put on a bet tomorrow, the Pool to win the FA cup and to gain promotion to the premier league via the playoffs.Question is how much? I am basing my optimism on the belief we actually have a stronger squad than last year when we beat the mighty Liverpool home and away, and they have made their way to Wembley, so why not us?

How much?. I suppose as much as you can afford to lose, just in case like.

I've just had a quick look on skybet and we are 150-1 to win the FA Cup and 7-1 for promotion (win outright) so you could do it as a double

To win the FA cup has to worth a fiver at 150-1
Don't think I need any more tension if we get to the play offs. Winning it would be enough.
Why don't you put the money saved from the ticket price? That way you've lost nothing.
You've probably worked out I'm not a big gambler!
Good luck though

Lets assume we win the cup for a moment. Then I was sat at Millwall with 10 mins to go and the pool are 1-0 up, needing a win for automatic promotion, AND I had £10 on at 350-1. I'm afraid I would spontaniously combust.

"Lets assume we win the cup for a moment." '.. for a moment.' ? Eh? I thought the winner held it for twelve months.... Sorry, Pete, I couldn't resist that!

Bet placed 10 gbp 150 to 1 FA cup 8 to 1 promoted via playoffs as an accumulator. Got to pay for all these Wembley trips somehow!
