Club Officials were surprised to see stories in the national press regarding a minor technical issue that occurred when the team checked in at their team hotel ahead of Saturday's game with Peterborough United.
Pool secretary Matt Williams explains, "I am a little surprised that this story has made the national press, there was a slight glitch when the players arrived at the hotel on Friday afternoon. Unfortunately the players were delayed 15-20 minutes whilst the issue was resolved. The hotel's General Manager apologised for the delay and any embarrassment that it caused. I would like to assure supporters that no one dashed across from Blackpool to rectify the problem nor did anyone pay for the accommodation on their personal card, the bill was paid on a Club Card in the usual manner and reports that a number of Club Credit cards were declined are not correct."

Maybe if this is widely circulated amongst the Tangerine Faithful, it will create a bit of a siege mentality, and get us all pulling together. God knows, we need something.
