and that's about the best thing I can say about it.........it's a shed! Entrance to the stand is an appalling situation with a complete lack of any meaningful numbers of turnstiles available and when, eventually, you get inside, things don't get any better! Toilet facilities are an absolute joke (pissing in a portacabin is more Stockport than Premiership) and unless you fancy missing a sizeable portion of the game, you can forget yer pie and bovril at half time! Watchin the game was frustrating with the view constantly obscured by those stupid columns and to brutally honest, I feel robbed! At £35 a ticket it's cost the missus and I around £100 to come across from Madchester to watch the game......something I won't be doing again to sit in this shed! That's just the facilities......now for the so called fans/supporters. I don't quite know where to start other than to say the shed was full of silent idiots......no not silent, 'cause you could hear 'em moaning easily enough at the slightest mistake, but of vocal support and encouragement for the lads, there was none! Then to make matters worse, they started sneaking out of the stand with about 20mins of the game left! I'm not going to mince my words so if you're of a sensitive nature, please look away now............those so called fans, with their fucking Wonga shirts and all the new gear are a fucking disgrace and a fucking embarrasment to the name of Blackpool Football Club! I, for one would quite happily see this shed burnt to the ground so these plastic bastards couldn't disgrace the club again with their prescence! We don't need them! We would be better off without them and I, for one, certainly wouldn't miss the wankers. Apart from all that, we didn't play very well did we? Few selection issues to address there I think.......starting without Evo, I believe, cost us the game and if it's true that it was over a bustup with the Scotsman at training, then as far as I'm concerned, it's a shame the deal for him didn't go through on deadline day........no room for egos in this team! Also, Carney looked way off the pace and the rest of the team just looked flat and lacked any coherance. A bad day at the office? I certainly hope so!

To be fair Micky, this day last year we had just been beaten by WBA at home 2-3 and were 7th in the Championship and very few on here in honesty would have thought that come 1 year we would be in the Premiership. The shed may be poor but given the circumstances it's a lot better than it was and time was not on our side. I noticed on the pc last night the fans leaving more from the south than anywhere else and we were not into injury time. They were fileing past Ollie in one long line as he stood a rather lone figure at the bottom of the west and I doubt if they were this years followers being in that stand. Ollie has a few new faces that will need to blend in so give it a few weeks and then like last season we will come right again. I hope.

Something wrong with the Shed Though not quite as vociferous as micky I agree with a lot he said, I have commented before it was an atmosphere free zone and last night was no exception. I dont know what it was but the atmosphere in the stand seemed to be reflected on the pitch, flat with no spark. For the first time I cant say anyone had a good game the mom was given to Vaughny but personally I would have not given one, maybe we should have a rollover system like the lotto! Did we make too many changes?well in my opinion yes,ok I'm not privy to the details of player fitness ect but why disturb the team that did so well against the Mancs I thought it a bit unfair on Grandin to be left out,and why Evo didnt start I can only guess at. Carney looked jet lagged, well at least I hope that was the reason because if that was as good as he is then Crainey doesn't have much to worry about, but what about Saladin?again not privy to the reason, maybe it was a dodgy dvd Ollie watched! All over the pitch I just felt something was wrong,Dj wasn't himself,Reg just couldn't get in the game, charlie couldnt enforce himself and first half the back four was all over the place, must temper that with I thought Baps was fine but untill evo came on he was fighting a one man war, looked to me as if Cathy really is the junior partner there and when evo's not about looked a bit lost.Bad day at the office?I sure hope so. Ollie has some serious thinking to do before Saturdays trip to Everton. As for the Shed and the new Fans I think a separate thread is called for.

Didn't I say yesterday that Evo would be on the bench.....
and that was one of the reasons, if not the main reason, I was "shot down in flames like like a ME109" yesterday.
YL.

Ye Olde: I was worried you would be disappointed with the reality….. I know on here you all perceive me to be this eloquent, moralistic, humorous, great, brilliant hero-like figure. I'm just a regular person guys - I just don't think I can live up to the pedestal you've all put me on. And now I'm a 'smart arse.' YL.

Mickyg i do feel sorry for you having to sit in what me and my bro call the silent witness stand, seeing its just full of dead quiet supporters.
Don't know what the answer is when the club decided to move us from the north to the south they seem to have left half the guys and girls behind, resulting in at some games a rubbish atmosphere.
Good god we can not even manage to get the simplest of chants going in the south like sea... sea... seasidersssss... because half the stand do not know the words lol.
I am telling you we need to get good old fashioned song sheets handed out...
I did comment that if you looked at the stands the other night when we where playing injury time you would have seen the level of true fans, these being the ones still sat in their seats to the bitter end lol

April, do me a favour and actually read the post. We are commenting from experience doing exactly what you suggest, we can't affordSTs/don't live in the area/workshitshifts, so can't get to all games. There are too few of us there to make a difference when things aren't going well, and it is very frustrating.

Not saying they are all plastics at all and some will become the fans of the future, but to say we being self-righteous puzzles me after all how hard is it to start with the basics like. sea....sea....seasiders?

Fair play to him, he said something OTT in the heat of the moment, and said he would amend it himself, hope he puts the rest of it back soon
