Well, if the Prem won't sort its own house out, somebody has to. And about time!
And whilst they're at it, they should try and get the Prem, FA & Football League to work together more cohesively more often instead of all working off on a tangent like they do at present - stop them bickering amongst themselves like kids.

Hang on.......this is the government you're talking about Yeni, so if you want to see bickering between themselves like kids, just tune into PM's question time! Whoever you vote for the government gets in.......don't vote, it only encourages them!

They have to have an inquiry into "Is there too much debt in the professional game", where do they spend their time, on Mars. No doubt it will be similar to the Banks, tell them what should happen and then let the banks do what they like.

That's such a depressing thought, Whit, the more so cos it's probably true.
Sometimes you look at things and think "How on earth did we ever get here, and how on earth can we get back to sanity"
There are now such powerful vested interests ie Sky, with their legions of lawyers, that, even if a law was enacted making the clubs play by the same rules as every other business in the country, you have no confidence that it could be enforced. Anyone else think we will end up with a fixed Prem with franchises, as American Football?
