What's the latest on tickets for the remaining home games...? As far as I can make out there are two 'packages' on sale - going by the blurb on the club website - but that's dated Friday 12 November! ?? Chelsea+Newcastle+Stoke orArsenal+Bolton+Wigan £87 adult, seniors £57, and U-19 £44 per package from the club office. I'm tempted to get a 'Chelsea' to ensure I get to Monday's game, but that means that I might have the Newcastle game spare. What's the latest on them, anyone? Seasons for 2011/12 have up to 28th April for 'the best price.' £265 senior, £93 junior - the same as this season. YL.

last time i checked i thought they had now gone to single sale tickets after monday, but who knows after my rather crappy conversations with the goons in the ticket office on Tuesday when i tried to renew my season ticket for next season and put my application in for my son.
only to be told that if he got one if would be in another part of the ground, so i said fine just make sure i am sat with him, too be told that i can only renew my seat and not move, but they tried to tell me it would be fine for a 6 year old to sit on his own.... f**king assholes

That's shocking, suppose if you did not renew and started again with a ST you could then get two together but possibly end up in the east.

true but they said if everybody renewed they would be sold out, so i asked about the extra capacity ie the corners being filled in. to which they told me that they had not decided if that was happening as nothing had been agreed.

Just got back from the Club Office, and re-newed our seasons for next year: They said that next season's would be 'added on' to the cards/'flexible friends' we already have - for 'Q' section. Then I asked about single home tickets: no idea when or if they will be available: what then happens the day after the Chelsea game, there'll be two matches remaining - Newcastle and Stoke from that 'package.' Will they then go on sale as single matches? Errrrr.... The 'Chelsea Package' is still avail., but the seats are in the East...................... ..and I don't fancy sitting in a morgue........ that's what I'd call 'depressing.' Still on the lookout for a ticket for Monday................ YL.

I'm starting to wonder if the powers that be at the club would rather have empty seats than let us just get a ticket for a single game. There appears to be no understanding from the club that an awful lot of Pool supporters cannot keep forking out on these high ticket prices.I would hate to try and work out the cost of following the Pool home and away this season. When more and more people are finding their finances under pressure, when jobs are disappearing like the last snows of spring the club just don't seem to get it, people just cant afford it. If your unfortunate to be one of the growing number of unemployed people in our area you can basically forget going to watch your team when the cost of a ticket is about half your weeks money.
I know I probably live in the past on this but I grew up with football being a working class game played on a Saturday that everyone who wanted to go to the match pretty much could afford to. Guess this is the cost of being in the richest league in the world.
Think someone at the club needs to look out the window of their ivory tower and take a look at the town and it's people.

Well said, John! Both you and I are not 'living in the past' as you put it - the number of times I've heard someone come out and say that football has left the working man behind and being too concerned with its rich trappings - I wouldn't need to do the lottery if I had a quid for each time it's been said to me! Football has lost its way - big time - in that respect... ..and I don't think it will ever get back to being a grass-roots sport as we knew it, more's the pity. KO keeping the next season's prices the same as 2010-11 is a small start, I suppose, but there is far more that can be done I'm sure, especially to help the people of Blackpool. YL.

Agree, Yeni and BJC, the dyas of it being our sport died when the Premier League took the Sky shilling.
My dearest wife suggested that I get the Arsenal package as my birthday pressie, as I was desperate to get a ticket for the Bolton match, our last home of the season, and, to be fair, would love to see Arsenal live. So they move the Arsenal match to 1.30 on a Sunday, my busiest day of the week ( same as many others in the Hospitality business) f in marvelous.
Things like Sherlock and his lad, does someone in the club not think, what happens if? to a whole range of possibilties. Always thought that was a lot of the trick of running a successful consumer focused business.

what annoys me is that young kids like mine are the future for when we are all pushing up daisies, personally i think its because it only costs £5 foe a kids season ticket for his age and they just don't want to sell them.
its totally pissed me off, because when all said no matter which division we play in i will still be going week in week out.
Karl please sort this and stop these sily 3 game package rubbish

Would love to have been able to make a few more games this season, but not being a member would cost me slightly more as well, money for me is decided on a weekly basis and if there is any spare cash would like to have been able to go to a single game and not have to buy a package, which basically I couldn't afford anyway...........thought about asking for game package for a pressie but thought it a bit cheeky to ask for over £100 for a pressie in this present climate. Ah well sky sports tv for me unless I win the comp in the gazette tonight ............... Enjoy the game everybody who makes it and as always UTP.XX

I take it from what you said about the ticket office's attitude to your 6 year old sitting on his own Sherlock, that you have to have a CRO check to buy a season ticket then?

Micky, pardon my ignorance, and though I might have one without even knowing about it but what's a CRO? Thanks, YL.

Cheers April! You're right I did mean CRB......I just forgot that for some unknown reason it was deemed necessary to change it's name from CRO, however, my point remains the same and as such it may be worth asking the club who the designated "child protection officer" is? This is a can of worms that definitely needs opening!

As the club didn't sell all the packages for the chelski game(serves them bloody well right) I wonder what is going to happen with the other two games in the package? Wonder if this means we stand a chance of getting A ticket for A game Hope springs eternal
