....with TangerineTed/Ted/TT and his dislike ('hatred' too strong a word?) for Keef 'Gnasher' Southern, our longest serving player, who has been with the club since 2002, and seen off five, six? managers. It has not slipped our notice that there have been a few 'run-ins' and 'disagreements' over the years, cumulating in a 'spat' with 'Big John' to the degree that Ted didn't venture into F&B's for 'Pool 'meets. One thread on here stands out in my mind - hollowaystangerines.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=archive&action=display&thread=843 from January, initiated by Whit. Even one of those from the Inland Revenue End of the M55 gets into the discussion.... Ted even goes to the extent of saying 'Boooooooo' on Gnasher's profile. ;D So, just for the hell of it I keyed 'Ted' into Google - not much, but at least Keef didn't get a mention. hubpages.com/hub/Case-Study-TED-Speakers-and-Their-Secrets-to-Success Then I tried 'Tangerine Ted' - which gave me a profile - www.facebook.com/people/Tangerine-Ted/100001085582371 That's not you, is it? So, in desperation, I gave the keyboard a bashing of 'Tangerine Ted Hates Southern' .... www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&pq=tangerine%20ted&xhr=t&q=tangerineted+hates+southern&cp=26&pf=p&sclient=psy&rlz=1R2GZAZ_enGB364&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=tangerineted+hates+southern+&pbx=1&fp=ece81ca1c74a805d ...and poor old Ted gets a slating. That brings us to the point of when the WUM-fest that is 606 shuts down in May - don't forget Ted doesn't put his 'match reports' on here, even though he is a member, albeit an infrequent poster (at present). What the hell are you gonna do then, mate?.What are we going to do with no Ted to argue with on the boards? YL. p.s. This OP is only meant to be a joke and I trust everyone will accept it in the vein it is intended - a bit of fun. YL.

To be fair I have met Ted on a number of of occasions, had a few drinks and we got on fine, he has been very helpful and is a very nice guy. The only problem I have re Ted as a fellow Pool fan is that I can see a player having a poor game, being unfit probably following an injury, but just accepting it, we are all human beings not bloody robots and we all have an off day or two. The main reason I posted that thread was the way he described the players as being of league one standard, that went to far in my book. The players mentioned had been part of the team that saw Blackpool achieve Premiership status after 40 years and in the case of Keith Southern many years of loyal service under a number of managers. Ok, you suggest a player plays badly during a match, that's not a problem it's an opinion but to label our players in such a derogative way is surely not on. I still like you Ted, if you are watching, just wish you didn't give our guys such a hard time. It was always going to be frustrating, playing against these highly rated EPL teams and to be fair our guys have been exceptional in many of the games we have played, you have to take into consideration were we have come from and with the little financial backing we have had to endure.

Don't you dare, John! We've got a nice little cosy corner in F&B's - don't want to give that up, do we? Well said there, Whit, and I'm sure most, if not all, 'Poolers on here see where you're coming from, and totally agree. Like you, I've met Ted on a couple of occasions when he has dared to venture into F&B's and have found him a friendly, likeable, sort of guy. As to the 'league 1' remark, I also mentioned something said along the lines of (some of) our players being referred to - on 606 after the Southampton Cup match? -as 'league 2.' Having said all that, at the end of the day, we are all Blackpool FC Fans, and all want the same thing for the club, maybe in a different way or from a different perspective, but it's still for the club. YL.

As long as Sandgrown'un brings the Leyton posse, there'll always be a picture in it!! LOL To add my tuppenceworth, Ted seemed a nice bloke, just got a bee in his bonnet about Gnasher and Brett, and doesn't feel the need to be diplomatic. Unlike the rest of us Not

Dont want anyone to think I have it in for Ted,far from it,a bit of banter is always good.We are all Poolers after all' and can argue as much as we like between ourselves, but just let anyone else start and As for the picture!! trust me, the last thing you want to see is a picture of this motley crew.

A picture of the F&B crowd sounds like a great idea, blow it up to the size of the goal and put i behind the goal Chelsea are attacking. Should scare them away from the goal

Half a good idea April, "Blow it up" about covers it! Nobody is going to steal my soul with one of those things!.I defend my right anonymity. You have no idea how disappointed I was when I met April in the flesh she's a bloke!! If you fancy a pint with bunch of weirdo's, and your lucky enough to have got a ticket to a home game just pop into f&B's and meet over a beer. I'm not keen on my face being seen on the internet! there's people out there watching us you know but if you want to buy me a pint!!!!

Always have been, always will be . . . apart from that Saturday night once when . . . . . Nope, not going there !! I chose the name to annoy the Dumpdale sock cookers who got my original 606 user name of "Donkeylasher In The Enemy Crib" banned for being offensive and it just carried over to here though just for you I might consider changing it to "Coyote Seasider" given the other sports team I'm passionate about Anyway, will be at the game tomorrow night, but unlikely to make it to F&Bs given I'll have to drive over to Cleveleys after work, eat with my parents and then head to the game with my Dad

Never met Ted and dont particulary want to. Now before everybody gets their knickers in a twist I say that because I sit near a Ted every week, always have done come to that, or so it seems. I am sure if I met Ted I would shake his hand cordially because he is a Seasider but I dont think I would instigate that meeting because I dont have a lot of time for folk who slag Blackpool players off so loudly or so publicly. I hesitated to write that for fear of being called a hypocrite because I once slated the secretary Matt Williams publicly but at least I gave it to him to his face first. He got his mouthful for, yes, slagging off an ex member of Blackpool FC who also happens to be a friend of mine and a passionate Seasider. Anyway, thats my ten pennorth for what its worth. Bloody great to be a Blackpool fan innit.

"... but at least I gave it to him to his face first." If anything, Sandy, I'd say you were being more honest than being hypocritical. To me, that was the crux of your post. I've also heard a few things about this Williams character that I've not liked, myself, but not had the opportunity to tell him so, but one day I just might. YL.

I admit that i have nothing good to say about Mr Williams, should i ever bump into him again i will tell him so again, i follow his account on twitter and it is cringing some of the things he tweets....
I think some off the things he says when he is the club sec are disgraceful as i told him the last time i saw him, "put your ego away and grow up and stop trying to be the big i am"
