So how are we all feeling about tonight's game? I know we are now a premier league club but for me it feels like an FA cup third round game. If you look at the league table there are only ten teams between us and them, that in it's self is an amazing fact, but when you look at the players they have compared to us that small gap appears a chasm. So what are your realistic expectations, huge defeat, close run thing, or is David going to stick one on Goliath? PS Cheski front three Torres,Drogba,Anelka Total cost £90 mill Pool strikers Reg,Betty,Henchman,Brett,Punchy, total £0 !!

I know what you mean, really nervous about tonight Sir Ian has already stated he is going to use the attack attack attack method so anything can happen. A point would be fantastic but i will head into the game believing we can beat them, like i do every game and take it from their lol Just watching Jack boots on Whitehall again, watched it before the spurs game so its already become a superstition in my pre match routine for a home match

Must admit, not at all nervous re tonight, I am sure we will rise to the occasion as we do against the so called top teams, even minus two of our top players. Enjoy the event, there are many teams in the football league who will never be in our situation however much they try, we have been very fortunate, just how many Preston fans can recall the top flight, not many I fear as it's 50 years since they last played in league one. A draw tonight would be just great, a win, well I think the town and fans would go wild, so lets go wild and savour the moment. I would settle for a draw though.

I'm sorry but try as I might I cannot think of one thing I like about the current Chelsea set up, which is in complete contrast to my beloved Pool. I generally hold respect for most things football and feel no malice to other clubs but I do make one exception. Chelsea for me represent everything I hate about the modern game and the sacking of Ray Wilkins and blind devotion to Terry is an example of their ethos. With Chelsea it's all about money and power whereas with Blackpool it's more about passion and endeavour. If we can beat them tonight then it'll be a victory for football......oooooooh if only. With the Gods of everything good on our side how can we fail?

we have absolutely no chance whatsoever of getting a result tonight .. we are outgunned in every single department i thought exactly the same for the liverpool games, the tottenham game, the stoke game, the reebok game, the goodison game ....

I reckon we're going to get thumped . . . . at least that's what the script says but when did the 'pool ever stick to the script
2-1 to the Seasiders . . . . and a forlorn Liverpool reject getting sent off when his frustration leads him to take a kick at one of the 'Pools finest

Getting more nervous as each game goes by. If we were where the pundits said, down and out, it would just all be a great chance to see some of these overpaid players in the flesh. Now, as we are still in with a great chance, I'm struggling to think anything other than " we need a point"
Still wouldn't have it any other way, and I bet St Ollie pulls some surprise or other tonight 2 - 4- 4 against Chelsea, anyone?
Come on the Pool, come on the Pool

well this is what lawro thinks just for a change
Blackpool are still without midfielder Charlie Adam, who remains suspended, and in his absence against Wolves last week we saw how important Adam is to the Seasiders. He is instrumental to the way they play and they just do not have the depth in his squad to change things around when he is not there. Their main striker, DJ Campbell, is also serving a ban, which is another blow. Even if Blackpool beat you, you still get lots of chances against them, that's the way they are. So I'd have to go for Chelsea, who seem to be doing better in a 4-4-2 formation and will have a bit of confidence back after beating Manchester United, to pick up another three points here. Prediction: 0-3
